Second Exam: Forest of Death(Part 3)

A few minutes ago after parting with the others:
"It's back to searching for the earth scroll, huh." Wendy speaks up as they walk through the forest, "It was great seeing the others here.

"Mmm-Hmm, they seem to be doing fine." Carla agrees

"Though it would of been great if we got that earth scroll instead." Killua sighs.

"It can't be helped." Gon says, "They also had only one scroll too, and like hinata said, it's great if we all passed together since we're rookies.

"There's your answer." Carla looks up at killua.

"Fine, I'll let it slide." Killua scoffs a little with hands in pocket.

"The next team encounter should have the earth scroll." Wendy guesses, "If we take it from them, then that's it."

"I hope so cause by tomorrow, which is the third day, I wanna make sure we reach that tower." Killua nods.

"Ugh..." Gon feels weird and slows down.

"What's the matter, gon?" Wendy asks, checking on him.

"That last fight must of still took a lot out of you." Killua figures.

"Of course, he wouldn't recover that fast." Carla isn't surprised.

"On top of that, I took more hits then Lee did." Gon adds.

"How about we stop somewhere and let Gon recover first." Wendy suggests.

"Good idea, but It'll have to be somewhere no teams will spot us." Killua agrees.

"Then let's hurry and find one." Carla suggests and they go on, with Killua carrying Gon over him.

They then find a spot under the tree roots and take a break there.

"It should be safe to recover here." Carla looks around.

Killua leans Gon against the tree, where he is still numb.
"I'll start healing you right away." Wendy's hands glow with green sky magic and she starts doing her usual healing.

"Having magic sure is cool..." Killua trails in amazement, "She even has healing magic."

"Well, using that can sometimes take a lot out of her, so it's best if she's always cautious of that." Carla explains.

"Oh, well I wanna make sure that doesn't happen." Killua says while looking at her.

"Huh?" Carla looks up at killua.

"I mean, it's safe not to let her push herself too hard." Killua gets it straight.

"Oh, I see..." Carla trails, surprised with his answer.

"Looks like Gon fell asleep again." Wendy tells the two after having finished healing him.

"Well... the fight with those sound ninja guys did take it's toll on him." Killua says.

"Who knew they were that strong, even that fuzz brows guy was beaten." Carla mutters, "To think only Sasuke was able to scare them off."

"He did it in a terrifying way, though...." Wendy mutters in a sad expression, thinking back at him breaking zaku's arms.

Killua thinks back at seeing sasuke's neck, "That mark on his neck has to be the reason why for his uncalled actions... it's definitely the case."

"Anyway, what should we do while Gon is sitting here and recovering?" Carla asks.

"I don't know." Wendy shakes her head.

"We could go and look for a team with an earth scroll while we're at it." Killua suggested.

"But... what about gon?" Wendy asks and looks down at him.
