Team Job: Chunin Exams

10 minutes later:

Gon, Killua, and Wendy are panting out of exhaustion while Kakashi doesn't look tired at all.

"Man... none of our attacks were getting through." Gon pants.

"This reminded me of that ball game with chairmen netero." Killua recalls, "Boy, is kakashi strong..."

"I didn't think he'd push you guys this far." Carla runs over to them, mostly wendy.

"You're really strong, Kakashi-san." Wendy pants.

"I can say the same. Your teamwork is pretty good." Kakashi complements, "The way I see, it's better than team 7's."

"You mean naruto, sasuke, and sakura?" Gon asks and Kakashi nods on confirmation.

"If I were to compare them. Gon thinks with his head a little more than naruto. Killua and Sasuke are the same in being the brains, and Wendy is more reliable and useful than Sakura." Kakashi thought and compares their traits.

Just then a mist ninja shows up behind him.

"Huh?" Gon wonders who he is.

"How are they?" Kakashi asks him.

The mist ninja transforms back to Iruka and he confirms, "Although we went through the trouble of setting a preliminary exam... all nine rookies pass."

"Nine rookies?" Killua wonders.

"It's just like you said, they're skills have grown." Iruka says to kakashi, before looking at Gon's team, "I see you three are new. I heard you're taking are taking the exams as well?"

"Yep, we sure are." Gon nods, "Kakashi-san wanted to test us first."

"I wonder how we did." Wendy wonders.

"So what we're our results?" Killua asks Kakashi.

"The result is... just like the other nine rookies, you three have passed as well." Kakashi-sensei gives a thumbs up.

"Yay!" Gon and wendy beam, glad to hear it.

"But the real chunin exam won't be easy." Kakashi warns them.

"I hope not." Killua says, "It would be boring if it was too easy."

"Glad you're fired up." Kakashi chuckles.

Later on:
"That spare with kakashi-san went really well." Gon speaks up as they walk back to the hotel.

"It sure did." Wendy nods, while holding carla, "It helped us to know what ninja's can really do."

"I get the feeling he was holding back." Killua guesses.

"Right?" Wendy then sweat-drops, "He said to come at him with everything we got, but we didn't do it anyway... heh heh heh." She giggles awkwardly, so does Gon.

"I didn't think there was a need so good thing we didn't." Killua chuckles mischievously.

"It ain't all that funny." Carla sweat-drops before adding, "On top of that, we now know that they use chakra, and in different forms."

"Those being ninjutsu for range attacks, taijutsu for close combat and Gen-something, or whatever for illusion attacks." Killua recalls most of it.

"We're stilling getting use to the names, so it's fine." Wendy assures him, which he nods.

"And we're still figuring what it's like here, after all." Carla adds.

"Right." Gon nods.

With that said, they arrive and go into their hotel room to get some sleep for tomorrow's chunin exam.
