Sharingan vs Sand

"Begin!" Genma calls it.

Gaara pops off his gourd top and out comes sand.

"So this is the sand kakashi told me about..." Sasuke thought, jumping back.

Suddenly, Gaara clutches his head in pain, and begins muttering words, "Mother... I gave you bad blood earlier... right? But don't worry... this one promises to be real tasty..."

"Up the waiting area, "The hell's wrong with him?" Killua doesn't get it gaara's mutter, "He's just saying random words out of the blue... this guy is too crazy."

Back to the fight, Sasuke finds it weird, narrowing a brow.

Gaara calms down his nerve and challenges, "Come."

"Here goes." Sasuke begins by throwing shurikens, which Gaara forms a sand clone to block.

"A clone of himself made from sand?" Wendy thought.

Sasuke dodges the repelled shurikens from the sand clones before attacking it with a kick and then a punch neck, but the sand clone traps his wrist, which Sasuke palms the clone in the face, disbursing it and freeing himself.

Before he can attack Gaara, who puts up his shield, "Hmph." Sasuke smirks and suddenly gets behind Gaara at fast speed, which stuns the latter.

"!" Lee and Killua are surprised.

"He's fast, just like that other one..." Gaara compares him to Lee before taking a strike to the face, "Uwah!" cracking his sand armor and sliding back.

"He's moving at the same paste as Lee did back when he fought gaara!" Killua thought, surprised.

"He's fast! He's almost as fast as Lee's speed average!" Gai thought, very surprised.

"His stance matches the image of my taijutsu!" Lee identifies, surprised.

"Is that the best your sand armor can do?" Sasuke taunts, ready for another round, "Come on!"

Gaara only glares with the cracked sand armor on him.

"If you won't attack, then I will!" Sasuke dashes and disappears at fast speed.

"!" Gaara controls his sand to attack, but it's easily dodged and Sasuke kicks him all the way back.

"Ugh!" Gaara slides back, crashing into the wall.

Smirking, "What's the matter, Gaara? Is that all you got!" Sasuke taunts.

"Amazing... his fighting style and speed is similar to Lee's!" Wendy thought, surprised.

"Wow..." Ino thought, surprised.

"Incredible..." Carla thought, surprised too.

"If I recall, his sharingan eye, can copy close combat attacks. When he faced Lee before the written test, he copied his moves and used it in the prelims... now he's using it here." Killua thought, amazed, "Man, sasuke's something else."

"His speed is just like Lee's with the weights removed." Gai thought.

"Sasuke is faster than before, it's just like Lee's taijutsu." Sakura thought.

Sasuke continues his onslaught by circling around Gaara at high speed, with the latter having trouble keeping up. Sasuke then kicks him before grabbing Gaara by the shirt and knees him in the stomach.

"Remarkable, sasuke. You are a greater ninja than I have ever imagined. Truly a genius." Lee thought, amazed at the performance, "It took me years to achieve that speed, while you did it in a mere month."
