Upon seeing the screen random selecting, "I'm next for sure!" Naruto calls.
"No it's me!" Lee calls too.
"You guys need to chill out." Carla says in annoyance.
The screen stops and reveals: Shikamaru Nara vs Kin Tsuchi
Naruto and Lee groan in complain at that's.
"Guess it ain't my turn yet either." Gon awkwardly laughs.
Shikamaru walks down and already in, "Guess it's me." He's lazily ready, with hands in pocket.
"Don't lose, Shikamaru! Show us you're a man!" Ino cheers, "Win! Beat that girl up with a 16 hit combo!"
"Yes, yes..." Shikamaru get it already.
"Ino's sure is energetic all of a sudden." Choji thought.
"Shikamaru looks like a lazy guy, I can tell by just looking at him." Killua figures.
"Well, He does look like he's not into this." Wendy adds.
"I'm sure he'll eventually pull something off and win." Gon is sure.
"He controls shadow." Dosu tells kin, "Beware of the shadows."
Kin only smirks and responds, "Like I'd fall for a dumb trick like that." She goes down and faces him.
"Okay, Shikamaru! Make that little girl cry and send her home!" Ino keeps cheering.
"Man this is a drag, I mean come on, give me a break, I've got to fight a girl." Shikamaru complains.
"Yeah, you just keep thinking that way, little man." Kin replies.

"I know what these guys are capable of when we last fought them during the second exam." Shikamaru recalls back, "But the problem is, I didn't get to see her jutsu. And to make it even worse, she saw mine.... oh well."
"The 11th match, Shikamaru, Kin... begin." Hayate calls it.
"It's all I've got." Shikamaru gets ready.
"You're not gonna pull that stupid shadow thing are you?"' Kin taunts.
"Shut your mouth!" Shikamaru exclaims in annoyance, "Ninja Art: Shadow possession jutsu!"
"Is that the only trick you got? If so then this is gonna be easier than I thought." Kin easily dodges and throws senbon with bells.
