Chuuya's POV:

"Welcome back!"
Kouyou smiled at me and held out her arms.
I ran over to her and gave her a hug.

"Thanks."
The Port Mafia had asked to meet me today, so we met at the cafe Kouyou owned.
We decided to hold the meeting in the cafe storage room, which was pretty cold.

"So; did you manage to get any useful information?"
Mori who was sitting directly across from me asked. I had to think about this, did I find out anything useful?

"Not really."
I paused for a moment.
"But I did find out that there's a member of the Detective Agency in the same school as me."
Mori looked pretty interested at this.

"Do you know who it is?"
He asked me.

"No not yet."

"Well, we'll try find out who it is. If we can get to see all the students then we should be able to know who it is."

"Ah okay, thanks. Well, that's really all I've got."
Mori nodded, this wasn't a very eventful meeting. I cant believe I had to take time out of my weekend to come to such a pointless meeting,I wouldn't have come if I knew it would be like this.
Everyone stayed silent for the next few minutes, not having anything to talk about. Finally my phone rang breaking the awkward silence.

"Hello?"
I answered, wondering who would be phoning my work phone.

"Hey Chuuya~"
The caller replied. Oh god, not him. I set my phone down on the table between Mori and I and just stared at it for a bit before picking it back up again, sadly, he hadn't hung up. I had wanted someone to break the silence but this isn't what I meant by that.

"How did you get this number?"
I asked.

"Akutagawa gave it to me, I can't believe you gave him you're second phone number but not me!"

"This is exactly the reason why I didn't give it to you. Now go away."
I sighed in annoyance, why did he have interrupt me now? Silently sitting in a room with the mafia is so much more interesting.

"Who's that?"
Kouyou asked, indicating to the person on the phone.

"Oh he's just a friend."
I responded. I cringed at the word 'friend'.

"Hey Chuuya. Do you think I could drown myself in your sink?"
I heard Dazai's annoying voice say from the phone. Why won't he just shut up?

"Yes. Please do."
I hung up after saying this then put the phone away, there was zero point in him calling me there.
No one else in the room had spoken, so I assumed we were done here. For them not seeing me in a few weeks this was a very underwhelming reaction.
"I've got loads to do today I nees to go now."
I waved at Kouyou and Mori as I left the storage room then out of the cafe.

-At Chuuya's house-

The first thing I noticed when I walked into the house was Dazai crouching on the ground staring at me with narrowed eyes. Not even moving just looking right at me, as if he was waiting for me to get back.

"You said you were just going to go get food."
He said in his annoying voice.

"You said you were going to drown yourself."
I flipped him off then walked into my kitchen and set my bag of food down.
"And I did actually get food."

"Good; I'm hungry."
Dazai said. He got up and walked towards the living room so I picked up a packet of instant noodles and threw it at him.

"Make it yourself."
I said while making my own. Dazai completely ignored the packet that I had thrown at him and disappeared into the living room.
I sighed then finished making my own noodles. I decided to be nice and make some for Dazai too, since I wasn't going to let him starve. Dont get me wrong, I hate him, but I don't want to be responsible for his death.

I got out two bowls and put the noodles in, I went into the living room and handed one to Dazai who smiled.
"Thanks Chuu. I knew you would make me some eventually."
He said; the statement of his made me want to dump the noodles over his head.

"I just decided that I didn't feel in the mood to kill someone today."
I said sarcastically. I sat cross legged on the floor, eating my food.

"So what about other days? You in the mood then?"
He asked. I shrugged then turned around to look at him.

"Depends; when I see people like you that's almost a definite yes."
I pointed my fork at him.

"How rude. I thought we were friends."
He set his empty bowl down on the ground and lay down on the sofa. I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but knowing him he was.

"No?"
It took me a while to realise that he was talking about what I had said on the call.
"Wait, you thought I was being genuine there?"

"Well I didn't think you would ever call me your friend, but yeah, I thought it could be genuine."
He rolled his eyes and punched me lightly in the shoulder.

"HEY!"
He might not have hit me that hard but I wasn't in the best mood right now. I got up and kicked him in the side.

"Ow. That's mean."
He stood up aswell and looked down at me.
"You know I could beat you in a fight any day. You're like half my height."

"Fuck you; height has nothing to do with it. I could fucking best you up any time I wanted"
I tried to punch him but he quickly stepped out of the way , causing me to miss.

"You're not gonna be able to hit me again. Just stop trying."
He sat back down on the sofa, which only made me more angry, but I was too tired to do anything about it. I just lay on the floor, it didn't help much that I just remembered that I have school tomorrow.
"Hey can we watch a movie?"
The brunette asked. I nodded, feeling too lazy to even reply.
"What do you want to watch?"

"I don't care, whatever."
I picked up the TV remote and gave it to Dazai.

"Yeah you're probably going to regret that."
He started looking through the movie section, then turned to me and smiled.
"Can you make popcorn?"
I had to fight the urge to murder him on the spot.

"Fuck you; alright I will."
I got up and went back to the kitchen, I cant believe that waste of bandages expected me to make popcorn after I had just made him noodles aswell.
I put the popcorn kernels in the microwave and rested my head on top of it; hearing the popcorn pop.
When it was finally down I brought it into the living room and sat down beside Dazai with a loud, over exaggerated sigh.

"Thank you~"
He said while picking up a bit of popcorn. I turned the lights, mainly to hude my slight blush, but also because you can't watch a movie with the lights on.
"Wait is this sweet popcorn? I like salted more."

"I already made it for you, you ungrateful bitch."
I hugged my knees to my chest, what kind of person likes salted popcorn more than sweet?

"Okay.. okay whatever. So, I picked a movie."
He said. I looked at the TV screen and saw the starting of a movie that I had seen way too many times. It was some cringy horror movie that was only scary the first time you watched it.

"Yeah you're right I do regret letting you pick the movie."
