Chapter 3 Are You Okay, Queen?

The adults immidately rushed to the hospital while Nora is kept at home with a beautiful maid at home. Also known as Rebecca, she looked at Nora playing her own, making her to not worry too much about the current situation.

Suddenly without realizing, Nora turned her head around and told Rebecca: "Rebecca sis, look at this teddy bear," she stood for a bit and continued, "The bear's arm is broken, can you fix it?"

Rebecca then stood for a while and said: "Sure, bring the bear and let's go for an adventure!" She is trying to make Nora feel less worried on the Queen's situation because she was still crying when her mother was brought to the hospital.

After a while, the King came home with a tired and sad feeling. He said to Rebecca:" The Queen's condition is stable right now. However, doctors still cannot give a statement about her following condition for the next following days,"

"Understood, your Majesty. Nora is trying not to cry while her mother is being hospitallized,"

"We hope to give her a better family and life for her, but the reality is still happening," the King is constantly blaming himself as he was unable to give Nora a good childhood just like other children.

Rebecca then said: "It's not your fault, your Majesty. She is still trying to stay positive and happy. Don't worry about her,"

Then, Nora came out with her teddy bear. She was asking where the Queen was. Rebecca then said a lie to her: "She is doing something important, honey. She will be back soon,"

Without suspecting, she turned around to her room. Suddenly, a phone call from the hospital. When the King picked up the phone, he looks very shocked while they are telling that the Queen suddenly went under coma and have 95% chances of not waking up.

The King once again rushed to the hospital to see the Queen but unfortunately, the Queen passed away just before he can say something to her.

He sitted beside the Queen and started crying beside his wife. "Why do you leave me so fast, this is really unfair. Why do you leave me....."

Meanwhile, while Rebecca is picking up the phone regarding the passing of the Queen, Nora came out and heard that her mother had died in the hospital and started sobbing.

She cried and held on their family photo and didn't come out from her room for the rest of the day. The next day, her family and relatives held the Queen's funeral. Nora can't help but her tears just rolled out from her eyes and her eyes were full of unexpectations and shocked.

Nari also attended the funeral and Lubert understand how his wife also passed away due to the common illness pregnant woman will get after the child gave birth.

After the funeral ended, Nari looked at Nora for a short while. She can't believe that her cousin will face the same situation she faced a few years ago.

Nari then walked over to Nora, she pulled out her pinky finger and said: "I'll protect you in the future,"

Nora looked at her pinky finger and pulled hers and with tears at the side of her eyes, they did a promise.

10 years later, Nora is 14 years old and at this time, she was chosen as Princess Nova. But she wasn't happy of what she received from the King.

She walked to the balcony and looked at the outside. "I don't feel happy being a princess. I never got a lot of freedom. Purple hair is not my favourite colour,"

Someone is also at the balcony with Nora. Nari walked up to Nora, "What's wrong?"

"Do I have to chance to change my hair colour?"

"I haven't heard any news about this. I never changed my hair colour before," said Nari.

"I wished to change my hair colour," Nora looks at her purple hair with disgust.

Soon, Nora went in to the palace after Nari. The King is celebrating the ceremony of the princess, but Nora is not happy of her royal life.

"We are here to celebrate with our new princess, Nora. Cheers!" the King raised his glass with other guests. Nora tried to put a smile regarding to her important ceremony, but she still feels trapped for all of the strict rules set in the kingdom.

Suddenly, a man who was drunk came closer to Nora. She is very uncomfortable with the man who is trying to get closer to her. She wants to push the man away, but she cannot do it because she will be blamed for disrespiecting people, whether they are drunk or not.

After rejecting the drunk man politely, she saw a pair of scissors at the table. Meanwhile, Nari noticed that Nora is starring at the scissors for a very long time.

"What cha looking at?" Nari asked.

"Oh, nothing at all. I'm just looking at this pair of scissors,"

Nora then walked to her room while Nari suspects that something must be in Nora's head.

"There must be a reason why she asks me about the colour change of her hair,"
