Chapter 9 Dark Histories

Lubert then said: "I will tell you when it is time for you to leave,"

"Okay dad,"

Lubert left the house leaving Nari very confused and scared. Nari felt unsure about this idea, but she also wanted to find Nora at Earth.

Suddenly, a phone call came and it was the King. Nari doesn't want to pick the phone because not only she is frustrated, but she guess that the King might be asking her about the mission she was given.

Nari tried to pick up the phone, hoping that it is not about the mission. "Hey Nari, how is the mission going on?"

"Em, it is going well. I am going to contact Nora soon," Nari answered with an annoyed sound.

"Ah I see, hope I get to see her again,"

"Honey come here, we gotta do the kiss session," said Elizabeth.

"Ok darling. I got to go first,"

Nari hung up the phone and sighed for a while. "Thank god he didn't ask me a lot, but I don't feel answering him,"

Nari finally know why Nora wanted to cut her hair. She wanted to escape the horrible behaviour of her father. Imagine a child wanted to have a happy family, but facing the things they don't want not only ruins it, but it also gives an unerasable nightmare.

When Nari was about to go to her bedroom, her phone rang again but it was from Lubert. He called Nari to tell her that they got an idea to help Nari to reunite with Nora.

"They have a capsule that you can use to reach Earth without any injuries. However you may need to pack your stuff up, I don't want John to keep calling you,"

"Indeed, he just called me and I don't even want to pick it,"

"Ahh ok. Tomorrow, you come to my house and I will help you to escape here,"

"Noted," Nari hung up on the phone and went to her bedroom to think about this. While Nari is packing her stuff, she saw a photo of both her and Nora together when they are still a child.

Nari just stared at the photo, recalling all of the memories she had with Nora. She remembered the first time seeing Nora, first time giving comfort to Nora, first time doing the promise.

She can't understand why does she have to see Nora facing all of this. "If only I can save you,"

Meanwhile in Earth, Nora is enjoying her life with Nesby and Fiona. They are having dinner right now and Nora is having a good time together so far.

"Hey Nora, how is dinner?" Nesby asked.

"It was delicious. Thank you,"

"Say, you are from Nova planet is it?"

"Yea. It was a planet where people go to after they die. But I was given birth by a mother who passed away in Earth,"

"Say, you said that you came here because you are trying to escape from your father, right?" Fiona asked.

"Err, yes I do," Nora answered Fiona's  question with an unsure tone. She is scared of letting out too much information just because she is a princess and the King might beat her if she leaked anything about the Nova planet.

Fiona saw her expression and asked if she is not feeling too well, Nora just said that she is full and left the table.

Meanwhile, Fiona is clueless of what happened to Nora. She tried asking Nora something that might help her to go back but it was really unexpecting to see Nora reacting to it badly.

"Did I ask her something wrong?" Fiona questioned herself.

"Not really. I am jst surprised to see that Nora has a big reaction towards it," Nesby answered. "Maybe she doesn't want to go back,"

"Wait why though?"

"When you mentioned about the reason of her escaping to Earth, she looked very nervous and uncomfortable from at least what I know,"

After dinner, Nesby was in her room, recalling that day she left home after her parents, teacher and students hated her. The reason is because of her eyes. It changes to yellow when she is mad or sad. From then on, she never turn back to her family because she can never receive the same love from them anymore.

"Nora, do you have the same reason with me why you escaped here? To escape the evil people who mistreat us? To escape the people we are their relatives and family members?" Nesby whispered.
