Chapter 25 Rest Well

One day, Nari suggested to Nora and Priscilla to visit their mother's graves for once after the royal battle ended. "Do you girls want to head to see our mother's grave?"

Priscilla and Nora both nodded their heads as they agreed to see their mother. This is also their first time seeing her grave after a certain amount of time.

The next day, they dressed up formerly for the visit. Nora wore a simple dark blue dress with white ankle boots. Priscilla unties her hair, so it looks like she was having no ponytail. Along with her are a white blouse with a wing collar and a dirty green skirt. She ends it with some ballet flat shoes.

Alas, Nari tied her hair with a flower hairband and wore sunglasses. Her outfit is simple, a dark green smock with blue jeans, along with black heels. Before they leave, Nari went to find Nesby, who was just in her room playing on her phone.

"Ooo, where ya going today?" Nesby elevated her head to see Nari wearing casually, standing in front of the door.

"Well, we are just going to see our mother's graves after the battle,"

"Ahh, so you are bringing Nora and Priscilla along?"

"Yup, Nora is a must since she last visited when she was still a child,"

"Ahh, I see, safe journey,"

After that, the girls hold on to Priscilla, and they teleported back to Nova. Once they reached Nova, they started finding their mother's grave.

Minutes of searching later, Nora found her mother's grave and told Priscilla to come. Once Priscilla got there, she asked Nora why.

"Well, you see. You were supposed to have the same mother with me together, but John killed her for another woman. Even though it was Elizabeth who gave birth to you, I wanted to show you my mother's face,"

On the grave, Nora's mother is looking very youthful with a bright smile on her face. She is indicating her daughters not to doubt about her too much as she is having a good time on the other side.

Nora and Priscilla started praying as a cold breeze was blowing their hair smoothly, they could feel a gust of wind is blowing to their faces. After a few minutes of silence praying, they opened their eyes while Priscilla put down a bouquet at their mother's grave.

Meanwhile, Nari found her mother's grave. It was just a few metres away from them, so Nari could still see them. She walks towards her mother's grave and started talking to it, just like how she is talking to Nari.

"How are you at the other side, mom? Dad and I were fine, so you should not worry about us. Rest well at the other side, okay?" Nari sobbed a while because she missed her mother so much.

To her, the loss of her mother can be emotional since she only has her father to talk with now. Nari then closed her eyes and started praying. She could feel her mother was just around, waiting to see the grown-up Nari.

After finishing the prayer, she put down the flowers she bought for her mother at the grave and left. Nari heads over to reunite with Nora and Priscilla, who was still at their mother's grave.

"Well, the nightmare is over. The evil person got their revenge, we finally got the peace we deserve and most of all, we made our bond tighter and stronger,"

"Yup," Priscilla answered. The three of them looked up at the sky. A flock of birds are flying all around the clear sky while enormous clouds are overlapping each other.

They all enjoyed the scene until Nora asked: "We are the free birds now, flying freely in the sky. So, shall we head back?"

"Sure," Nari replied.

Priscilla pulled the two arcs of her bow, and the small moons started spinning. Before she said her destination, she looked up to the sky for a while and then said: "To Earth, Lucky 24,"

A rainbow ray started shining all over them, and they soon disappeared from the graveyard. From then on, Nora is the new queen after her father while Priscilla is the castle's new princess.

As for Nari, she is still a mage girl who often take care of these two little girls. However, they have lived in Lucky 24 forever to continue their lives on Earth.
