AUSTIN'S P.O.V - 9 months later...

"Alright! Good job you're doing great! Just one more big push!"

Maddie shakes her head wildly. "I can't! It hurts to much!" She has tears streaking her face. I grab her hand and look straight into her eyes.

"Yes you can! You are the strongest girl I've ever known, or loved." Her face grows red again as she pushes as hard as she can.

Then I hear it. The doctor grabs the baby and wraps it in a towl, and Maddie is trying to catch her breath.

The infant is wailing and kicking it's arms and legs,and the nurse is rushing toward the sink.

Maddie has tears standing in her eyes, but I know those tears are from happiness."I am never,ever,ever,ever,ever,EVER doing this again, ever." She finishes with a small smile.

I lean over and kiss her hand. "Ever." I finish for her. Then we sit like this and wait.

MADISON'S P.O.V.

"Congratulations!" The nurse says to us as she hands me the baby. "I think it was worth it." Austin mumbles. I look at him shocked. "It was worth it because youdidn't have to go through the twelve hours if labor. So I'd stop talking if I were yo-Aaaaaahhhhhh!"

Austin gets up alarmed. He calls for the doctor,and I feel the shocking pain between my legs again. I start  hyperventilating.

The doctors and nurses shove on gloves and get back in front of me. A nurse turns the monitor back on and looks at us bewildered. "There's another one." She whispered hoarsley.
No. Not thepainagain!!! Wait. Wait,wait,wait!!! Thesurprisethedoctorwastalkingabout!!! Anotherbaby!!!

I want to scream in excitement, but the pain makes me bite my tounge. I taste blood.

"Push!" I feel the little body inching out of me,and let me tell you, it's not the best feeling in the world.

It feels disgusting.

I look over to my left, and see Austin passed out on a chair. I surpress a laugh that turns into a scream as I feel the baby inch out again.

"Congratulations again Ms.Scott! You are now the proud mother of two healthy twin babies!"

I fling my head back in exhaustion. That felt worse...
So much forneverever...

AUSTIN'S P.O.V.

I wake up surrounded by nurses, and when I wake up,they start to giggle. "You gave us a fright ol' chap!" One of the nurses says.

Maddie. Maddie. Maddie.

I get up and look at her hospital bed,she's not holding one baby, but two. One is wrapped up in a blue blanket, the other in pink.

That means....

"Holy cow! I'm gonna actually have a baby girl!" Madison looks up at me and smiles. "Never again." She says in a dry voice

I surpress a chuckle, and that makes her angry.

"You try pushing a little body out of your own for twelve hours and tell me how it feels after!" She harshly whispered,trying not to wake the babies. But the start to stir anyway. She rocks them both until they cuddle back up to her chest.

I walk over to her and plant a kiss on her forehead.

"You did very good Maddie. Now we have two gifts. The little miracle,and the little surprise."

She smiles softly, and she kisses the sleeping infants heads, then slowly drifts into a very peaceful sleep.

I call for the nurse,and she takes the babies to the nursery.

"Sweet dreams..." I whisper.

I sit back down in my chair and fall into my own spell of sleep.
