AUSTIN'S P.O.V.

"Maddie! Maddie, I need you to stay awake! No, no, no, don't close your eyes... There we go! Let me see those beautiful big brownies." I move my hand away from her face and back to her head.

She's looking around like she's confused, and then she looks at me. Her eyes start to close again, but I shake her so she stays awake. The babies are crying, there's a knocked out phsyco on the nursery floor, and my mom is passed out in the next room.

I rummage through my jacket pocket and grab my phone.

"911! What's your emergency?" A friendly voice says to me. I look down at Madison to make sure that her eyes are still open, but they're not. Her heart rate is slowing down, and still gettting slower by the second.

"Yes, I need an ambulence to come right away, my.... girlfriend is dying, someone stabbed her...... Oh! And I need the police to come, I have the man who did it to her right here! Please hurry!"

"Alright, Sir, I need you to take deep breaths and calm down... Tell me your name."  I sigh. This is gonna take a while...

"Austin Mahone." The woman on the other line chokes up for a second, then quickly recovers. "Yes alright Mr. Mahone, can you tell me where you are right this second?"

I tell her the adress, and she tells me that they will be there shortly. I really hope that shortly is less than ten minutes....

MASON'S P.O.V.

When I wake up, all I can feel is a sharp pain going through my head. I try to move my hands up to rub my temples, but I can't.

My hands are stuck behind me. I turn around and scan my surroundings. So... I'm in a car, with my hands tied behind me, and I see the cops outside talking to Austin.

He keeps pointing to my window and  shouting something, but all I can hear are muffled noises.

Then all of it comes back to me. The babies, the mom, Maddie.... I groan as the pain in my head gets worse. I knew I shouldn't have done it! I hate that witch! She told me Maddie and I could still have our happily ever after, but it was all just a joke, so that she could get a good laugh out of it.

YESTERDAY AT MADDIE'S OLD HOUSE...

"Are you sure Maddie said all of that?" I have a bad feeling about this, but Sherlyn nods her head like she's certain that's what Madison said about me.

"Of course! Why would I lie to one of my daughter's close friends? She wouldn't stop talking about how much she wanted and needed you, an' how she couldn't wait to be back into your..." She trails off and starts to blush.

"My what?" I press forward. I need to know the truth! She clears her throat and continues.

"Your strong and amazingly fit arms..." Wow. Now I really need to see Maddie for myself. I still love her, and it sounds like she's really in love with me also.

Hah! I was right! They always do come crawling back...

I thank Ms.Scott for the helpful information, and head out the door. I look up and down the road before I make a left turn, and I almost crash into a couple walking down the street eating icecream.

That girl looks awfully familiar though... The girl picks up her spoon off of the ground frowning at it.

My breath gets caught in my chest. No.. that can't be right.. she was just saying that.... Maddie looks up from the spoon and turns toward Austin, who gives her his spoon. They laugh and continue to walk down the street together, not even paying attention to me...

MASON'S P.O.V.- PRESENT DAY...

I growl deep in my throat, and that growl turns into a shout. Soon I'm shouting at Austin through the window.

"You bastard! I'll kill you! I'll kill you! You took her away from me! She was all mine until you came along! Now I have nothing! And it's all your fault! I hate you! I will kill you and destroy everything you've every loved! Even if the price is my life, I'll pay anything to see you dead!"

I keep shouting until the police officer opens the door and tries to calm me down. That only makes me more angry and I shout even louder and try to kick the officer.

"Billy," the officer shouts, "You better grab the-" "Got it!" Shouts the other officer.

He grabs something off of his belt buckle and hands it to the officer trying to calm me down. As soon as the neddle enters my body, I'm out like a light.
