Hope was listening as Lizzie explained How Josie had lost her humanity again.

(Flashback)

Josie was sitting in counselling with Emma. "So, we have covered almost everything, except Hope. Why won't you talk about her?" Josie shuffled uncomfortably for a second "Next question". Emma shook her head before speaking again "Josie, I can't force you to talk. But I know that a lot happened between you both, even just the smallest details might help". Josie was silent for a second she had been avoiding this conversation for 9 months and had let it all bottle up but she nodded her head and finally began talking about it "Hope just left me. I tried stopping her but she threatened me. I was supposed to be her soul mate. The one girl she was supposed to love unconditionally yet she just left. What does that say about me if my soulmate don't even want me". Josie chuckled darkly at the thought then continued talking "I guess I should have known she would leave anyway, she didn't even want the marks in the first place". Emma nodded and began speaking back "Do you think that maybe Hope felt scared about the marks?" Josie nodded "Of course she was, but we worked through it. In the end all Hope wanted was to be powerful. And at that point she didn't care what it cost her. She didn't care if she lost me".

Emma took some notes then looked up at the time "Thank you for finally talking to me about it Josie, we can pick it up in our next session tomorrow okay?" Josie just nodded and stood up. Josie headed towards her room and walked in spotting Finch on her bed "Hi baby, how was your session". Josie just shrugged as she kissed Finch "It was fine. She made me talk about Hope". Finch raised her eyebrow "Why did they make you talk about that 5 feet of trouble for?" Josie giggled as she answered "Apparently I still have some trauma because of her leaving". Finch was silent for a second "And do you?" Josie just shrugged again "I guess it still hurts sometimes". Finch walked over to her as she spoke "And you didn't think to tell me this? We have been together 4 months and you haven't decided to tell me your not over Hope yet". Josie turned around quickly "I am over Hope, she broke my heart and you helped me fix it". Finch sighed as she spoke again "You know Jo. I am not Hope. I can't feel how you feel. I don't have a direct line to your soul, you need to tell me things like this. otherwise your just like her, hiding your feelings away".  Josie snapped around glairing angrily at Finch "I am nothing like her. She is power hungry, she is thoughtless, and she left. I have never left you, I always think about you, and I don't care about power. Now  I've had a rough day And I want to be alone, can you please go and hang around with your pack for a while".

Finch nodded and left Josie to think. Sitting alone Josie sat on the bed but she felt rage building up inside her. She thought about how Finch had said she's just like Hope, she thought about the way Hope just left her, she thought about the way Hope had threatened her and above all, She wondered why Hope Didn't stay for her. The soul marks must have meant nothing to her. Up on that realization. Josie felt herself get hit with a swarm of emotions mainly Rage, Despair, And worthlessness. That was the final straw for Josie. Closing her eyes and imagining that switch, Soon. Josie felt nothing.

(End Flashback)

Hope didn't know what to say, so she settled on asking Lizzie why she needed her. Lizzie was silent for a second before talking "Hope as much as I hate to admit this because for once I don't want to hurt your feelings. but Its kind of your fault Josie did this. You are soul bound to my sister and you just left,  She was broken and Hollow for months, but she held it together Thinking you would come back. But up on realizing that you weren't Josie tried to be strong, and she continued feeling the pain that you caused her because that's all she had left of you. But after that session with Emma, After realizing that she was nothing to you. She didn't want to love you anymore, so she stopped loving everyone, and she turned her humanity off. Now I've lost my sister, Alaric and Caroline have lost their daughter, Finch has lost her girlfriend and you.... You lost her Love and Judging by how faint that mark is, Soon your going to lose your bond".

Hope was silent before standing up She hadn't even bothered looking at her mark for weeks. Maybe if she had Josie wouldn't be like this. Hope felt remorse build up inside her as she stood up "We need to go". Lizzie stood up and nodded "Damn right we do Mikaelson, Lets go save my sister". Hope nodded as she started packing her stuff with the help of Lizzie and Freya. Within minutes it was done. Hugging her Aunt and Saying bye to Keelin Lizzie and Hope climbed in Lizzies dads truck "Ready Mikaelson". Hope nodded as they pulled away and headed back towards Home.

On the way back Lizzie rung Alaric. It didn't take long for him to answer "Lizzie sweetheart, Please tell me Hope agreed to help. Things have gotten pretty extreme here". Lizzie swallowed and Looked at Hope who seemed Nervous before she spoke "Don't worry Dr Saltzman I'm on my way". Alaric let out a sigh of relief on the other end of the line "Thank you Hope". Lizzie turned to Hope and smiled before she began talking "How extreme have things got dad?" Alaric sighed again but this time it was more a tense kind of sigh "Well to put it bluntly to you, Josie has massacred the entire Mystic falls grill, And at least 8 bodies were found After a mystic falls High party last night, There are 3 missing young girls and not to mention she tried to Desiccate Your mum. She's gone off the rails sweetheart, And nothing any of us are doing is seeming to help. We can't even get close enough to catch her". Lizzie felt a tear run down her cheek. She then looked Over to Hope who also seemed to be crying. Lizzie hung up as she continued to drive back to mystic falls Hoping that maybe there was still a way to reach her sister.
