My protection only goes so far

Josie woke up wrapped in Finch's arms. Sitting up she streched and snuck out the bed careful not to wake Finch or Lizzie. Josie threw on some clothes and walked out the room heading towards the kitchen when she heard a voice "Your spell sucked". Josie turned around and saw Hope staring at her "It wasn't meant to hold you forever, Just long enough for me to convince you to turn your humanity back on". Hope walked forward until she was inches from Josie "You smell like another wolf, I'm assuming it's Finch. Why do you insist on sleeping with her? you know I was always better than her. Is it because deep down you crave someone to love you the way Penelope didn't? Or is it because your always quiet and overlooked by your family? Josette Saltzman always the unimportant sister always the weak one". Josie shook her head at Hope "Hope, Stop trying to hurt me, I didn't do anything wrong, This isn't you, I want you to come back to me, please". Hope just laughed emotionlessly Before rolling her eyes "Whatever, I'm going to kill your sister and your little wolf lover. And once I have, You will have no one left to love you but me, Then I'll come back to you, If I can be bothered to turn my humanity back on". Josie frowned trying not to let Hopes words get to her "If you kill my sister or Finch, I don't care if you love me or not, And I won't care about your humanity or not, because I would never forgive you". Hope just grinned before walking away "We will see Josie". 

Josie forgot all about going to the kitchen after Hope left and instead ran to Lizzie and Finch's room to make sure they were both still safe. Walking in she checked Lizzie then Finch before sighing relieved. Lizzie was currently still asleep but Finch had Just woken up. Leaning over to Josie who was now sitting next to her, she put her arm around her waist Lazily "Are you okay? you seem panicked". Josie sighed pulling away from Finch's touch "I'm Fine, I just saw Hope, she wants you and Lizzie dead And my protection can only go so far". Finch pulled Josie into her and sat up before beginning to kiss her lightly on the neck, speaking between kisses "You know, You don't have to worry, as long as me and lizzie are in here, and we have you, Were safe". Josie stood up pushing Finch away  "I just need to convince my dad to stay in here. That way all of you are safe". Finch nodded at Josie "Have you eaten this morning?" Josie shook her head "No, I headed to the kitchen but met Hope halfway and came straight back to check you both once she left". Finch nodded before offering Josie her wrist "Here. Drink, you need to keep your strength up". Josie took Finch's wrist before biting and drinking, Humming appreciatively at Finch. After a few minutes Josie pulled away thanking her "Thank you, I'm going to go down to the canteen, I'll get your usual yeah?" Finch smiled and nodded "Yeah, thank you Jo". Josie just nodded and Left the room before heading to get Finch's breakfast.

Josie got to the canteen and was first in the queue, luckily. Josie grabbed Finch's favourite before grabbing a breakfast bar for herself. Josie considered getting something for Lizzie but chose to wait until she was up as her breakfast varied depending on the day and her mood. Walking back up to the room she walked in before handing Finch her food. "Here, Enjoy". Finch smiled as Josie took a seat on the bed next to her "I Need to find a way to Get through to Hope. She's dangerous like this". Finch giggled lightly "Like she wasn't dangerous before". Josie looked at Finch warningly "She apologised for that, Let it go". Finch just shrugged and Josie got up. Walking over to her drawer Josie pulled out a grimour before sitting back in her previous place. "What are you looking for? another useless spell to contain me?" Josie looked up at the entrance of the room and saw Hope standing in the door way with blood dripping down her chin on to her top. Standing up she took a protective stance "Hope, what did you do?" Hope laughed as she threw one of Finch's pack members through the door "Had a snack, Go on Jo. You know how much you like wolves". Josie felt the veins under her eyes pulsing and the bloodlust feeling trying to take over. Swallowing thickly she tried to resist it. She had learned to control herself with certain peoples blood, But she still struggled when it came to others. Just as Josie was about to give into the blood lust and launch herself at the wolf to finish what Hope started, Lizzie got up and grabbed Josie's shoulder quickly siphoning her before casting a spell. Josie stood immobilized as Lizzie let go and quickly ran over to the wolf. He had already mostly healed thanks to his wolf healing but he was still covered in blood. Lizzie walked over to Hopes drawers, before Grabbing one of Her shirts and Using it to hold against the wolfs neck. Once he had finished bleeding Lizzie walked over to Josie before touching her and releasing her from the spell she had cast on her. 

Hope stood observing the situation before talking "Well, once again you mess things up for me Lizzie. Taking my revenge on you is going to be fun". Lizzie glared at Hope then used her magic to slam the door in her face "I swear I make one little mistake and she goes mad". Lizzie threw herself back on her bed before climbing back under the covers looking at Josie "Once she goes away please get me some breakfast". Josie nodded and sat down continuing to go through her grimour and Finch was now sitting with her pack mate talking.
