Nightmare

Hope was in the woods, she had shifted and was planning on hiding out until night fall and figured it would be easier to keep a low profile as a wolf. Hope was laying on the docks when she heard a rustle in the bush a few feet away. Standing up Hope bolted into the woods Hoping that it wasn't a person and that she hadn't been caught. Hope was unsure how far she had ran until she came a field of flowers. Hope instantly recognised it from her dreams only this time she wasn't asleep. Hope wandered around it she could smell each flower and could hear the birds, It was a tranquil and calming place. Hope spotted a large tree in the middle so she walked over to it and laid underneath it. While relaxing Hope kept replaying the dreams she used to have in her head, The flower field, Josie, The sun. It was hard for Hope to not want to be happy, But she had the choice to turn her humanity on and she chose not to. She had made her decision and she planned to stick to it, It was made increasingly more difficult though by the thoughts in her head. 

(Short time skip)

It was now getting late and dark and Hope had just left the field to head back towards the Salvatore school. She had been laying at the field of flowers for a few hours and was Hungry so she decided she was going to Stop off at the bus stop first for a snack. Shifting by an old tree, Hope pulled out a bag of clothes she had hidden when she first started attending the school. Hope got dressed and headed towards the bus stop, On reaching her destination Hope spotted the bus Just up the road so she waited. After a few minutes she boarded the bus and waited for it to leave. Once the Salvatore school was out of sight, Hope. Like she had previously done before, Got up and fed on the bus driver before making her way around the entire bus. Once Hope had killed and Fed on everyone on the bus, She got off and began walking back towards the School.

It didn't take Hope long to reach it as she walked through the gates and in the front door. She instantly headed For Lizzies room. Once outside Hope listened for any noise but she couldn't hear none. Once she was sure that No one was awake she opened the door. Hope could see Lizzie asleep and looked around to see Josie asleep in Finch's bed with her. Hope growled quietly before leaning up against the wall outside and closing her eyes Focusing on Lizzie sleeping. 

Lizzie was sitting on her bed in her room with MG. Hope walked over to Mg before grabbing him by the throat and biting him, She then let him drop to the floor. Hope watched as Lizzie leaned down panicking checking on MG "MG, MG WAKE UP! HOPE, YOUR GOING TO REGRET THIS". Lizzie stood up and Looked at Hope angrily but Hope ran out the room. After a short time Hope returned Holding Alaric so Lizzie could see before dropping him at her feet "You know Lizzie, Your boyfriend is going to be dead soon, your dad is next". Lizzie was sitting next to MG crying as she looked up at Hope "Why are you doing this?" Hope laughed as she leaned  down "Because if it wasn't for you, convincing Josie that I didn't truly love her, I wouldn't have been through everything that I have. I wouldn't be a vampire, I wouldn't be unhappy, I wouldn't have felt sick  every time, Finch put her hands on Josie. I would still have her unconditional love. But you ripped it away from me. Now I'm ripping everything you love away from you". Hope picked up Alaric biting into his neck and drinking. Hope waited for his body to go limp before dropping him next to MG "Two down, 3 to go". 

Hope opened her eyes as she heard Lizzie gasp from her room. Grinning she quickly Vamped down the hall and out of sight in case Josie came looking for her. After Hope was sure that Josie wouldn't be searching for her. She walked back towards the room. Standing outside she listened and could hear talking inside "It was a horrible dream Jo, It's like she's in my head. She killed MG she killed dad. I can't handle all this waiting around Jo. We need to stop her". Hope chuckled quietly but clearly not quietly enough as she heard Josie inside "Shh, I heard something". Hope quickly went to vamp away but was caught off guard when Josie was right behind her "Hope, so you took to psychological torture then? Why are you doing this? I've been trying to get you to come back to me so why won't you? Its what you wanted. You don't want to feel anything because what? Because Lizzie hurt your feelings? At this point your just letting her win". Hope stood quietly for a second before speaking "Josie, Just give up already. I'm not going to turn my humanity back on. Your wasting your time". Josie just shook her head as she looked at Hope "No I'm not. I love you Hope. You didn't give up on me and I won't give up on you". Hope was once again silent before talking "I should've given up on you a long time ago". Hope started walking away when Josie said something that caught Hopes attention. "Did you know that if our Soul marks disappear, I will eventually be bound to someone else?" Hope stood frozen in place before turning around "Your lying". Josie stepped forward as she spoke "No I'm not, let me prove it". Hope walked up to Josie "How?" Josie raised her hands and put them on each side of Hopes face before chanting "In sertia".

So what else can you tell me about soul marks? 

When on the trip we learned a lot about soul marks. We learned they can only appear to supernaturals, that once both parties have their marks they become connected, Any emotion our partner feels we can feel to, We learned that the dreams can somewhat be prophetic, and there are different types of bonds depending on the supernatural it appears on. We also learned that If one of the marks or both of the marks fade. The second person to get the mark will become soul bound to the next person they love if that person is supernatural.  

Hope Stood Frozen staring at Josie as she pulled away "You have a choice Hope. Turn your humanity back on. Or eventually I will end up bound to someone else. And me and you both know who that would be". Hope stood still rooted to the spot. The last thing she wanted to do was Lose Josie, But after everything she had done she didn't want to face the guilt, Hope felt conflicted. Turning around Hope vamped away from Josie and ran out into the woods. Once there she stripped and shifted before running towards the docks. Up on arriving there she laid down thinking about her decision.
