"Em... Forth?"
SILENCE
"Forth, baby?!" Beam called his statued husband in a worried tone before glancing around at all the people surrounding them before settling at the pair sitting together in the middle of the living room, hand in hand.
AGAIN SILENCE
"Baby, you're scaring me, say something..." Beam patted his husband's thigh.
"I don't think he can. Talk, I mean"
"Oh boy, Koko broke his brain!"
"Could you be anymore giddy?"
"No. Oh wait, maybe... If he could make P'Forth pull his hair out... so fun!"
"Boys?" Beam called the crazy pair standing beside the long staircase.
"Yes P'Beam?"
"Shut up and go to bed!" Beam firmly, making the boys pout and eye the cuter one of the couple who'd caused this chaos. The boy made a guilty face at both his younger brothers.
Arthit and Dome waved at him as they went upstairs, Dome mouthing good luck and then flinching away when his eyes landed on the quiet and scary looking person besides his phi while Arthit made funny faces at the guy, trying to break the straight face but pouting when he failed to do so.
Once the boys were gone, Beam turned to an elegant, older couple sitting calmly on the other side of the lounge. "Em... you both knew about it?"
The beautiful and elegantly dressed, intimidating woman tilted her head at Beam and then eyed the cute, milky skinned teenager who sat with his blushing, chubby cheeks puffed cutely, biting his lower lip while holding hands with the tough, frowning boy beside him. She eyed the other guy with a smirk when he glared back at her with such defiance.
"Well, he's cuter, don't you think, hon?" she asked the man beside her without looking at him. The man, in an extremely expensive and nicely tailored suit, had been sitting there with an unreadable expression on his face yet his aura exuded authority like none other.
He only showed an expression when his wife called him and ran her fingers on his arm. He turned to her and gave her a curt smile before turning to Forth.
"So, who is the boy Jathurapoom?" he asked and waited for Forth to answer who was still in a daze. Beam sighed, rolling his eyes as he pinched his husband hard on his thigh, making him jump in pain but successfully snapping out of his shock.
Forth looked around, then at Beam who leaned back on his couch with a huff, swirling his glass of wine. "Huh, finally! Keep your mouth closed"
"Beam..." Forth frowned seeing the unconcerned look on his beloved husband's face. "You knew?"
"I'm Beam. The boys love me, I'm loveable. Of course, I knew" Beam shrugged incredulously. "I'm past that shock, now you enjoy it. Seriously, on my anniversary for God's sake!" he hissed, being the mood he was.
Forth took turns gaping at his husband, then his younger brother, and finally, his eyes settling in on the guy sitting beside his Kao.
He blinked.
His eyes traveling from his thick black overgrown hair, to his frowning face, the tattoos all so visible under his white buttoned shirt, all those many piercings and metal jewelries and those few, fading cuts here and there on his skin and that damned hand that had its fingers snaked around his little brother's hand.
Then he looked back into his dark, frowning eyes that stared back at him with such calm, like he did not care what Forth or anyone else thought of him.
