Alice sat at the breakfast table, glumly picking at the pancakes they had been served as she listened to the others eagerly talking amongst themselves. "Chica and I got permission to use the kitchen today! We're gonna make the best cupcakes ever." Chad bragged.
"Oh yeah? Well Bonnie and I are writing a song to play on our guitars together!" Greg exclaimed enthusiastically. They began bickering at each other, and Alice decided to just tune them out. Suddenly Mary spoke up, "Hey Alice, anything interesting happen with Springtrap? You've never told us anything." Alice looked up from her pancakes in surprise, "Oh, uh yeah. I made a drawing of him yesterday and he stole it and threw it away."
"Oh jeez that sucks." Mary said, "It doesn't seem very safe for you to be in a room with that guy."
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it isn't." Alice sighed, and went back to eating her pancakes, not wanting to be a part of this conversation anymore.
As Alice walked towards Springtrap's room with Mrs. Wilson as usual, when she suddenly went down a different hall and into a small room. Alice looked around in confusion, "What are we doing here?" She asked. Mrs. Wilson grinned and went over to one of the many screens in the room, "This is the security room, and I've got something I want to show you that we caught on camera last night." Alice watched as a video came up. It had clearly been recorded with night vision, and to her surprise, it showed Springtrap retrieving her drawing from the trash and hiding it in a desk drawer. "What? Why'd he do that?" She asked. Mrs.Wilson shrugged, "We have no idea, but I personally think it's because he liked the drawing and wanted to keep it, but didn't want you to know." She said as she led the way out of the room and back on course, "You probably shouldn't tell him that you saw that by the way."
"Yeah," They stopped in front of the door as Mrs. Wilson unlocked it, "Thanks for telling me." Alice added as she stepped inside. Mrs. Wilson smiled and nodded to her, "Good luck dear." She said before shutting the door and walking away.
Springtrap was standing in front of the desk that she had seen him put the drawing into. He glared at her suspiciously, "What did she tell you?"
"None of your business." Alice replied, feeling strangely confident. She had expected Springtrap to say something mean in reply, but instead he just crossed his arms and glared at her.
Alice took a seat in her usual chair and opened her sketchbook, "I'm going to draw you again."
Springtrap scowled at her, "Why?"
"Because you threw out the other one before I even had a chance to color it. I want to actually finish this one." She replied as she began sketching. Springtrap looked a bit less angry than usual, and seemed to be thinking about something. After a while he spoke again, almost hesitantly, "What are you even gonna do with that drawing? Don't you have enough in that stupid sketchbook?"
Alice stared at him for a moment. Did he want this drawing too? "Why do you want to know?" She said, watching him closely. He glared at her, "It's just a question, dumbass. Can't you understand anything?" He growled. Alice just shrugged and went back to drawing.
Mrs. Wilson came to get her right as she added the last detail. She had worked a lot harder on this drawing, so it had taken her the whole hour to complete. Alice got up and started walking towards the door, when suddenly she felt a large hand grip her shoulder, and heard Springtrap's voice from right behind her, "You aren't even gonna let me see it?" He growled, sounding very annoying. Before she could respond Mrs. Wilson spoke up, "Springtrap let go of her and back up or we are going to shock you." She said in a surprisingly commanding voice. Alice felt the grip on her shoulder tighten as Springtrap spoke, "If you shock me while I'm touching her, she'll get shocked to." He replied.
Alice felt frozen in fear, but managed to gather herself enough to speak, her gaze glued to the ground in front her, "I-I worked really hard o-on this drawing, a-and I don't want you to ruin it this time!" She hated the sound of fear in her voice. Springtrap scoffed, "I'm not going to throw it out this time, I just want to see it." He sounded really annoyed, and she decided it would probably be better to just let this drawing get ruined and not agitate him even more. Alice quickly opened her sketchbook to the page that the drawing was on, and passed it to Springtrap over her shoulder that he didn't have his hand on, "Please don't ruin it." She whispered as he took it from her. Alice glanced towards Mrs. Wilson, who was standing with the door opened waiting for her with a worried look on her face.
After what felt like an eternity, Springtrap finally handed back her sketchback, and released her shoulder. Alice rushed out the door, and only looked at the damage to her sketchbook once it was safely shut and locked behind her. To her surprise it was perfectly fine. Mrs.Wilson put a comforting arm around her shoulder, "I'm sorry, I should've shocked him when I saw him coming up behind you. I'm glad you made it out ok." She said.
"It's f-fine." Alice stuttered, still a little shaken up.
Once she was back in her room, she rushed through the report and started coloring the drawing as soon as possible. If she wanted to make her time here more bearable, she would have to figure out a way to get Springtrap to be a bit nicer to her, and it seemed like giving him this drawing would help with that a lot. She had a plan.
