Alice was very eager to get to the room to see if her plan had worked. Mrs. Wilson was struggling to keep up as they sped towards the room. She had asked Mrs. Wilson not to tell if it had worked or not, and to just let her find out for herself.
As they rounded the last corner, Alice got a sinking feeling when she saw a dent in the metal door, "What the- How did he even do that?" She asked, feeling uneasy.
"He smashed one of the chairs into the door." Mrs. Wilson replied.
"What!?" Alice exclaimed, "I thought those were bolted to the ground!"
"He ripped it off of it's legs somehow. Oh well, it was a pretty cheap chair anyways." She said with a sigh.
"Jeez..." Alice murmurd.
As the door swung shut behind her, Alice immediately saw the broken chair laying the ground in front of her. She then noticed her sketchbook laying against a wall, its binding rings bent and broken, it also looked like some of the pages had come out, but someone had tried to tape them back in. She spotted Springtrap sitting in the corner that the broken vase had been in. She also saw that the vase seemed to have been taped together and was sitting on top of one of the bookshelves. "What did you do to my sketchbook?" She said softly. Springtrap averted his eyes, somehow looking annoyed and shameful at the sametime.
Alice realized he also seemed to have caught a bunch of tape in his fur, "Well what did you do?" She repeated, taking a couple of cautious steps towards him. He grumbled something that she couldn't hear, "What did you say?" She nervously edged a bit closer. He glared at her, "I said I threw it against a wall." He mumbled angrily.
Alice sighed, "Why? Why would you do that? And also, why are you covered in tape?"
Springtrap looked away again, "I threw it because I don't like you, obviously," He paused to glance at her for a moment, "...And I'm covered in tape because I tried to fix it, and the tape got caught in my fur. The fingers of this stupid suit are too big to get the tape." He growled.
Alice realized that this might be her chance, "Uhm, I-I could maybe get the tape for you?" She hated the thought of getting so close to a creep like him, but if she could do at least one nice thing, maybe he'd be nicer to her. Springtrap glared at her, "Eugh no way, I don't want you touching me." He said angrily.
"But the tape is going to keep getting more and more stuck in your fur. It looks really uncomfortable." Alice replied, taking a couple of steps towards him.
"I told you to fuck off. I don't want you to." He snarled. Alice got a couple feet closer, her anxiety rising. This was a terrible idea, but she couldn't back down now, "I'm going to anyway. Besides, I need something to do since you ruined my sketch book." She got even closer. He scooted further into the corner and tucked in his legs, "I didn't ruin it. You're just too much of a stuck up brat." He continued to glare at her.
She was so close now that she could almost touch him.
"Don't you dare touch me." Springtrap growled menacingly, "I'll snap your neck." Alice sat down near him, and scooted a little closer, "I-I'm just going to be touching the tape, not you." Her voice trembled, giving away how scared she was. Alice cautiously began reaching towards him, bracing herself to be attacked. Common sense was screaming for her to just retreat and get away, but it was too late now. She grabbed a piece of tape on his arm and flinched. When she realized he hadn't moved, she carefully removed the piece of tape, and quickly drew back her arm, "See? T-that wasn't so bad." She said, more to reassure herself than Springtrap.
Alice nervously watched him for a moment. He stayed very still, his eyes fixed on the floor in front of him, "You're a dumbass. You're the dumbest person I've ever met. What the hell is wrong with you? You must've been dropped on your head when you were a baby." He murmured angrily, although his expression looked more sad and confused than anything else. He seemed to be thinking about something. Alice decided that it was at least somewhat safe to continue, so she began removing more pieces of the tape. What had he done, rolled in it? He must've used a lot of tape.
It was surprisingly relaxing, sitting there working the tape out of his matted fur. A large storm had set in and Alice could hear a heavy rain battering the building. Occasionally loud thunder would cause the building to shudder, and she loved it. Springtrap hardly moved as she worked, and didn't say anything. The silence was a relief.
Suddenly, the speaker in the corner on the other side of the room beeped, startling both of them. A voice then came from it, "Attention students, you'll be removed from the rooms in 10 minutes, as we are worried about a power outage possibly happening. Before you start complaining, allow me to tell you what exactly a power outage would cause," The voice paused and there was the sound of papers being shuffled around, "If a power outage were to occur, all lights would go out, the doors would be unable to be unlocked, the controlled shock cuffs would no longer be functional, and we would no longer be able-" At that moment the power flickered off, but quickly came back on. The voice resumed, "We would lose ability to monitor you. Also, change of plans, you are going to be retrieved right n-" The lights flickered off again, but this time, they did not turn back on, and the whirr of machinery in the building went silent.
