Introducing : Dawn!

A/N: To celebrate the release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl I give you two special chapters

Starting with, the introduction of a very anticipated character! Say hello to Dawn

Your backstory: You are an Ace Trainer that sometimes offers their experience and knowledge to the Trainer School. You were quickly becoming a favorite among the students, some asked you constantly about some stories to share!

Your home region: Sinnoh, born and raised! Although you've had your chances to visit other regions too

Your first meeting

Dawn had entered the Trainer School after getting word that her friend Barry would be in there. She was to deliver a parcel Barry's mom was going to give him

When she entered the building, she was in awe of what she was seeing. The people learning with their Pokemon, some training, and others even playing

Since she was just starting her journey, Dawn was new to all of this, and it showed

Fortunately for her, you were nearby and welcomed with the warmth that you always used

"Hello! Welcome to the Trainer School! What can I do for you?"

She turned to face you and smiled

"Hi! I'm looking for my friend Barry. Blonde, tends to crash into things...and people"

She laughed nervously at this last part

You put a hand on your chin as you thought back on it

"I think I saw someone like that..."

Then, you looked at her

"Want me to help you look for him?"

Her eyes sparkled at the question

"Yes, thank you!"

You smiled and lead her through the building. Chatter ensued not long after you began walking together

"Say, are you a trainer?"

"Yes, just got started"

"Oh? How would you like to stay for some lessons?"

"I have some errands to run" She sighed

You stopped walking when you approached another area, where you had last seen someone matching Barry's description

"That's alright, our doors are always open for trainers!"

"I'll keep that in mind. Thank you..."

"My name is Y/N, a pleasure to meet you!"

She smiled at this. Her energy was contagious

"Likewise Y/N, I'm Dawn"

"That's a fine name, Dawn. I like it!"

A hint of red took over her cheeks for a moment before she heard something in the distance

Something crashing

"Oh, I think that's Barry. Better catch up to him before he breaks anything"

She was about to leave but stopped to look at you

"Thank you, Y/N! See you soon!"

You waved her and saw her running towards her friend to continue her journey

However, someone else was present as well, one of the girls who studied under your guidance

Her age, and prone to jokes

"Oh my! Y/N met a girl!?"

Another voice could be heard in the background, another one of the girls

"WHAT!? NOT ON MY WATCH!!"

You couldn't help but laugh at the commotion. What a job it was

...

What is your relationship like?

- The "polite" lovers

- As wholesome as it gets

- Dawn can get a bit shy around you, even if you're already a couple

- Give her some time, she'll loosen up

- A mix of goofiness and romance

- Plenty of adventures!

- She can get serious if the situation calls for it

- She actually takes notes when you teach her something

Who does the battling?: Even though she can hold her own for the most part, she likes to leave the battling to you. It is your thing after all

Do you travel together?: Whenever you're not busy teaching, she'll ask you to travel with her, especially if it's to a place that's far away in the region

Will you be my Valentine?

- You asked. Some of the lasses helped you to think of something to say

- Her mom told you what kind of chocolates she liked

- Even Rowan agreed to give her the day off

- You took her to a beautiful spot to talk

- To say that she was blushing was an understatement

"For real? I-I mean, of course! I'd love to!"

The captain of your ship: Barry. He wouldn't stop bothering Dawn about it

Jealousy: 4. She doesn't get jealous easily, as she can tell whenever someone's approach is friendly or professional, but when it's not, then she gets easily overwhelmed

...

Someone flirts with you

- She would try to remain professional

- If it kept going, then oh my, does she get flustered

- Once she's had enough, she approaches the girl and asks if she can snatch you away

- When confronted about it, she eventually comes clean about her jealousy

- A hug always ensues after that

What she likes about you: Your patience. Sometimes, it can be a little overwhelming for her, so she really appreciates that you remain by her side without adding pressure, in fact, sometimes you even help her
