The final character to join the roster and a nice little gift for the breadman himself BaguetteManOfficial

- - - - - - -

Your backstory: You're the grandson of a friend of Drayden's, although you visited him often to learn more about training dragon types. It came as no surprise that you grew up to become an assistant of sorts to him ...and a bit of a rival to Iris

...

Your home region: Unova, although you're too busy to travel to other regions most of the time

...

Your first meeting

You were six at the time, you were playing with your first pokemon, a Deino that you had since it hatched from an egg when the door to your home opened

When you turned around, you found Drayden himself

"You're back!" You announced with a glint of happiness in your voice as you got up

"And there's someone I'd like you to meet, Y/N"

The man stepped aside to reveal a girl about your age with hair that almost reached her feet. She turned red the minute you laid eyes on her

"This is Iris, she'll be staying with me from now on"

She shyly waved at you

"...hi"

You waved back, but it was your pokemon who broke the ice, as it charged toward the girl

"Deino! Wait"

You rushed to stop the pokemon, but that's when you heard laughter coming from Iris herself, as Deino was nuzzling against her

"Why don't you get to know each other while I set everything up?" Drayden said as he closed the door

He walked past you and ruffled your hair. When you turned back to Iris, who was playing with your pokemon, she smiled at you

...

What is your relationship like?

- The "only I can defeat you in a fight, you hear?!" lovers

- Most people think you're rivals instead of lovers

- Her way of showing affection is things like punching your shoulder

- Give her some time, she'll loosen up

- She'll still try to be cute every now and then though...to varying success

- Oh man her Pokemon love you, and vice versa

- You're present in most of her fights as some sort of cheerleader, a very aggressive one

- She gave you a poorly made necklace a long time ago. You've never been seen without it

...

Who does the battling?: You're fighting each other more often than not, but when it comes to facing another opponent? It's whoever gets to draw their pokemon first

...

Do you travel together?: It's not often that you travel, but whenever the situation arises, you're always the first on the other's list, if there's no other obligation to fulfill, that is

...

Will you be my Valentine?

- You asked. You knew for a fact she would have a meltdown trying to ask you instead, so you spared her

- A week in preparation, you asked Elesa for some tips and ideas

- You challenged her to a friendly battle which she won. Oh man she wouldn't stop bragging about it

- She was being her usual playful self until you gave her a necklace that you made (It took you like, three weeks to craft it)

- She became a blushing (and stuttering) mess after that

- You completed it with a ride on a dragon at night

"C-C'mon! Don't turn the tables on me like that! I-I....aghhh!"

...

The captain of your ship: Elesa. She insists, and I quote, "you're so adorable together"
...

Jealousy: 5. She's confident in your bond, but there are times in which you gain too much attention from the ladies, some that she admits are attractive too

...

Someone flirts with you

- She wouldn't mind at first. As it's not that rare

- It's when they get insistent or you flirt back that she acts

- She'll wrap her arms around you and tell (not ask) the other person that she's taking you away

- She would punch your shoulder and scold you for being like that

- It comes out as more of an adorable rant though

...

What she likes about you: your disposition to help others. Even if you don't know what you're doing sometimes, you got your heart in the right place

...

Your type: You grew up together using dragon types, you tell me

...

Battling: Challenging each other is your favorite way to test your might, and while you are a dragon type training, it's the secondary typing of your team what forces her to think on her feet

It's anybody's game every time you fight, but the score always ends up being 6-5

And of course, a taunting victory dance ensues. All in good faith, though

...

Cheering you up: She would team up with your pokemon and take you flying. Oftentimes the view from the clouds provides some much-needed relaxation

...

Under the stars

After a long day of training, you found a spot to rest. Your teams roamed free or lied down with you as you enjoyed yourselves

One of them assisted in making a bonfire, and you prepared something for everyone

Iris let out a heavy breath, smiling as she let her hair down, as she often did when it was just the two of you...and your Pokemon, of course

"I hate to admit it but you're right. It's nice to relax every now and then. Thank you for inviting us"
