I'm Aaditya, short Aadi.
All these things started when I and my family planned to go to the holy Amarnath Cave located in Jammu & Kashmir. For me, going to holy places has always proved to be good. Standing inside those old structures, surrendering everything to the holy being resided there is another new kind of feeling and I've always loved this feeling.
I know that not many of you will understand what I mean but truly, it's like you've gone a whole different era.
We all had to save a lot of money to go to that holy place, and after 2 months of saving, we had enough money for the journey from Coorg to Kashmir on my 18th birthday.
During the journey, all I was thinking was of the trek that should be done before going to that temple.
As soon as we reached the station near the foot of the mountain, there were a lot of devotees waiting to be blessed by the sight of the ice lingam. There was a lot of security arranged that day, I don't know why!!
By saying 'Har Har Mahadev' we started our ascent.
Experiencing the natural beauty all along our way, we reached the cave. This was a giant structure with a lot of devotees and ascetics in saffron dress blocking the view.
As I was standing in the queue, there was some reflection hitting my eyes. I couldn't spot the source of it, it was hidden in the snow. I guess it was a metallic object that was reflecting the sunlight. I felt to go and check what it was, so unknowingly I left the line and moved towards the metallic object. I cleaned the snow on top of it, to my surprise...
