Chapter 4

Im too lazy to finish the whole final selection so I'm just gonna start where they go to urokodaki

*3rd point of view*

*After final selection*

Sora was walking down the mountain when she heard a familiar voice call her name, "Hey, Sora! Wait up!" She turned to see Makomo, Sabito, and Giyuu.

"Oh, ummm hey nice to see you" Sora fidgeting with her fingers. Makomo smiled and hugged her causing her to stiffen a bit but soon relax, "Thankyou for saving me and Sabito. Without you, we probably would have died."

Sora's eyes widened and she smiled to herself, 'Maybe Master was right'

Flashback:

It was about a week before the final selection and Sora and Hinotori were sparring, of course the rave netted won in a matter of seconds.

The yellow head fell on her knees "Master! H-how am I supposed to become a demon slayer if I can't even last a second against you!" Sora shouted with some tears in her eyes.

Hinotori's eyes softened slightly but quickly went back to her usual stern glare, "You do remember that I am one of the strongest Hashiras right? Not only that....but it seems to me that you are holding back from using your lightning breath."

"B-but you said-"

"I know what I said!" Sora flinched at the Hashira's outburst.

Hinotori sighed, "Your breath is incredibly dangerous IF used incorrectly. However, from what I have observed, you understand like the back of your hand. With that said.....I appeal what I said about you not being allowed to use your Breath around others."

Sora let out a sigh of relief.

"But!"

She flinched again.

"you are not to use it unless I give permission, the Final Selection is an exception, but only to to protect yourself. Knowing you, you probably won't listen so I will tell you this!"

The ravenette gave the younger teen a stern look causing her to stiffen, "If you use your power to save others I won't be entirely angry with you. As a matter of fact, I am 95% sure that whoever you have saved will become your best friend."

Sora tilted her head in confusion, "Wait, how can you predict that?"

"Just a hunch."

*End of Flashback*

Sabito scoffed and turned his head away, "Thanks I guess..."

"He is only mad because he had to be saved by you."

"GIYUU!"

Sabito turned a light red color and turned to Giyuu trying to strangle him. Makomo sighed and shook her head, "Boys, am I right?" She nudged Sora who happened to be staring at the sky.

"Yeah...boys..." Sora's eyes filled with sadness but quickly washed away with the voices of the trio.

"GIYUU COME BACK HERE!!!"

"......."

"Sabito stop trying to kill Giyuu after all it is true~"

"MAKOMO!!!"

Currently, the trio (plus Sora) are climbing a steep mountain to get to their teacher's home, "Why does your teacher have to live all the way up here?!" Sora whined.

"I've been wondering the same thing too." Giyuu replied.

The four teens finally reached Urokodaki's house (I can't spell his name and I'm not gonna even try) after about a half hour of walking.

"Sensei, we're back from the finally selection!" Sabito yelled out. Not even a minute later the door to the cabin slams open and out comes an old man with a goblin mask.

'And I thought my sensei was weird...' Sora thought, slightly disturbed from the masked man.

Of course, the yellow head was too busy in her thoughts to realize that the trio and Urokodaki joined in a big group hug, with the old man secretly crying tears of joy.

They separated from the hug and Urokodaki started asking questions, "How well did you all do? Any injuries? Did any of you almost die?" Sabito and Giyuu looked completely overwhelmed by the sudden questions, but Makomo was happy to answer all of them,

"We all killed a decent amount of demons each. Yes, I had a small head injury but nothing sirius, and also another yes, Sabito and I nearly died at the hands of a morph demon until my new best friend saved us!"

The two boys gawked at Makomo as she answered all the questions easily while Urokodaki seemed slightly puzzled, "And whom is your new best friend?"

Malone pointed to the yellow haired girl with a yellow haori and brown eyes who happened to be awkwardly standing a few meters away from them.

Urokodaki's eyes widened, 'That's Hinotori's tsugoku! Just so happens that her brother is being taught by an ex-hashira'

The masked man walks over to Sora and gently taps her shoulder, but obviously she still jumps and flinches like crazy.

"KYAAAA!!" Sora screeches causing the water trio to flinch as well.

"........"

Sora turns around and flinches again (thankfully not screeching again) ".....ummm sorry, a habit of mine....ummm my name is Sora, Sora Agutsuma."

"I know very well who you are Sora" The man replied

'How do you know me/her!?" Everyone else thought.
