When Estelle broke through on to the other side, she was greeted to an energetic platform filled with the hooting of owls and laughter of others. A smile worked its way onto her lips, as she looked around. There were many students getting onto the train, and saying goodbye to their families warmly. She walked into the platform more, looking around as she went. Slowly, all eyes began to fall on her. Whether it was the Veela in her, or the fact that she looked too old to be a first year student. People didn't recognize her, and that was strange to them.
Hogwarts doesn't often take transfer students, there isn't really a need for it. So this must be weird, Estelle thought to herself, hauling her trunk with difficulty onto the train. The charm had worn off by then.
All of the sudden, she felt the weight of the trunk disappear, and she peered around it to see a person helping her.
"You looked like you were struggling." The voice said, it didn't sound kind or helpful at all.. More as if she had been in the way.
"Oh, well thank you." Estelle said shyly.
The head of the person popped up behind her trunk , and when he looked into her eyes the annoyed tone left his voice.
"Oh-You don't have to- Uh- apologize." Said the boy, he had dark hair and brown cold eyes. "I'm Evan, Evan Rosier." The boy said awkwardly.
"Estelle Beaulieu. I just transferred here from Beaxbatons." Estelle said, nodding her head politely.
"I figured, with the accent and all." Evan said, still studying Estelles face. She knew what was happening to him, she was a Veela after-all. This kind of Veela magic they just can't help, but instead of taking advantage of it, Estelle snapped her fingers in his face.
"Nice to meet you Evan, Thank you for the help." Estelle said politely, tugging her trunk to find a compartment. But the weight was lifted once again.
"Why don't you come and sit with my friends and I, I don't think you know anyone. Do you?" Evan asked, getting a bit closer to Estelle than she was used to.
"Erm, no, I don't know anyone. Thank you, that would be nice." She said, watching the boy suspiciously. Had she not woken him up properly? Why was he still being so nice?
"Let me take this." Evan said, taking hold of her trunk and pulling it down the hallway. Estelle watched him walking away for a moment, a little bit taken aback.
He looked over his shoulder at her, looking her up and down. "Are you coming? Because I have your trunk now, and it may be a bit odd if I take it alone." he said with a cold chuckle.
Estelle nodded, following him down the train corridor. As they were walking, Estelle a bit behind him so that there was room for people to pass by, Evan yelled out in anger. "Watch it!"
Two boys passed by, one of them hitting shoulders with Evan as they went. The first boy was tall and lanky with messy brown hair and glasses, he had a mischievous smirk on his lips that made Estelle believe he had done it on purpose.
The next boy was just as tall, but had a stronger build to him, with dark hair that fell to his jaw. He had piercing grey eyes that stood out amongst his dark features and lightly tan skin. As the boys walked passed, they did a bit of a double take. The first boy's smirk deepening, and the second boy winked.
Estelle giggled to herself, and she heard Evan muttered to himself "Filthy blood traitors". She frowned a bit, that didn't seem like a very acceptable term to her.. She knew English very well, but she had never heard that before.
Down the train from Estelle, the two boys were whispering to themselves. "Have you ever seen her before Sirius?" The first boy asked, looking back over his shoulder.
