"You know Stella,  you could come stay with me for the last couple days of break." Lily said, pulling a very soft looking jumper over her head.

Estelle lifted her head out of Marlenes lap, propping herself up on her elbows. They sunk into the soft mattress of the bed the girls were lounging on; they had all gone upstairs so Lily and Marlene could get ready to go home.

She hesitated, studying her friends face for any sign of jest. "I don't know Lil... I have never been in the muggle world before, at least not for more than a few hours.." Estelle said finally, batting away Marlenes hand as she tugged on a lock of her curls.

"Oh come on." Lily whined. "Mar could come to! I would be good for you to see how the muggles live." She added, putting her hands on her hips and staring at them both.

Marlene looked down at her nails, and then back at Lily. "I'm in-" She said with a shrug. "-as long as your crazy ass sister doesn't try to burn us all." She added, and Estelle tried to hold back a laugh as Lily glared at Marlene.

Lily rolled her eyes, and turned to fiddle with the hem of her jumper. Her eyes flicked to the two girls through the mirror. "Tuney means well you know, I think that she is just jealous deep down that she isn't one of us."

They stared at her wide eyed, the sister that Lily had talked about did not seem like someone jealous. Noticing that they were staring at her, Lily turned around and perched on the edge of the bed tucking a leg underneath her. She picked at her fingernails a moment before looking up at the girls.

"Right before our first year.. Sev- Severus and I found a letter that she wrote to Dumbledore, practically begging to let her come to school with me. But she was already 13... She denies it of course, but she only says those mean things because she is jealous and angry."

Estelle gave Lily a sympathetic smile, resting a hand on her elbow, side eyeing Marlene to make sure she was doing the same. "You know what, I think this is a great idea Lily. I have imposed on the Potters kindness for far too long, and the testosterone in this place is suffocating me."

Lily broke out of the thoughts of her sister, laughing and smiling brightly at them. "We have never had any... Uh, magical guests before... My Mum and Dad will be thrilled."

The group sat quietly at the dinner table that evening, not exactly sure what to say. Estelle and James chatted fine but no one really knew what to say to her, or to say to Sirius, it had been awkward all day.

Euphemia and Fleamont were at either sides of the head of the table, Fleamont eyes were fixed on the Daily Prophet, and Euphemia was scanning the group of teens. The group was scattered all around the dining table, silently picking at their steak and kidney pie, while Estelle and James chatted quietly.

"Well, what on earth has got you lot all glum? I feel depressed just sitting here." Euphemia said, putting down her utensils and looking around with crossed arms.

Sirius made eye contact with her, and then looked back down at his plate. She studied him for a moment, narrowing her eyes. Then she looked over to James, who was trying to put on a convincing as possible look of ignorance.

"James, did you do something stupid?" Euphemia asked, raising one eyebrow and glancing at Estelle.

"What! What could make you think I have done something?" He said in an offended tone.

Estelle snorted, and he shot her a glare. "What are you laughing at!" James said, even more defensive.

"I mean, come on James. You always do something." She said with a snigger.
