El was bouncing on her feet in her pretty red dress. She was so excited to see her friends again, especially her girlfriend. She was born a whole year before the party, but due to her living in a lab the first 12 years of her life, she didn't have the same education advantage. El was also really smart, she had an eidetic memory, making her smart than she should be.

The school had put her in 11th grade when her friends went to 10th grade, causing her to graduate before them. Her graduation was sad. All her friends were crying even tho they were all going to go to the same college next year. Her first year at college had been a little rough without her family but her roommate helped her. They became best friends. Now, she was back in Hawkins to watch her best friends and girlfriend graduate.

The brunette stood next to her mom and dad, Jonathan and Nancy, Steve and Robin, The wheelers, The Sinclairs, and Dustin's mom. Jonathan, Nancy, Steve, and Robin all went to NYU too. El had gone so she could be with people she felt familiar with. She quickly found out that because they're older, they're not gonna be with her. They all tried to help out as best as they could, though.

El watched as the boys, and Max, all clapped when Will went up to get his diploma. They did the same for Dustin, Lucas, Mike, and Max. The brunette had tears in her eyes as she watched her girlfriend walk up to the principal and get her diploma. She was so utterly proud of her.

The five friends all ran to her once the ceremony was over. They were all stopped by their parents, of course. Dustin's mom was crying into his hair, Lucas parents were talking to him about NYU while Erica was crying over her brother leaving, Joyce Hop and Jonathan all hugged Will and she just had to join in because they're all family aren't they? She laughed at Max and Mike's annoyed faces as Karen cried and took pictures. Ted was holding Holly's hand as he watched his two children.

Max looked up, spotting her girlfriend. She gasped, running into the slightly taller girls arms. "Ellie!"

El giggled as she lifted her girlfriend off the floor, spinning them. "I missed you so much baby, oh God I'm so excited when you get to New York!"

"I missed you so much Ellie, I just wanna go home and spend time with you!"

"Okay my love, we can do that! My cars right here."

Max was cuddled into El as they watched The Wizard Of Oz. It was Max's all time favorite movie. The two girls were eating cheese pizza and drinking chocolate milk. Well Max was, El hated the stuff. She was drinking a nice, cold dr. Pepper.

"How can you drink that?"

"It's chocolate! How could you go wrong with chocolate?!"

"It's sugar! You're already so hyper baby girl-"

"No! We're in college now, I'm a mature adult!"

"Okay, let's see how long that'll last."

Max turned her attention back to the movie with a pout of on her face. If El didn't think she was mature she would just have to prove it! The ginger drank the rest of her chocolate milk, frowning when she reached the last of it. She was about to ask for more until she remembered the conversation that had happened a couple minutes ago. Max put the glass on the table, refusing to even ask for more. El smirked as she raised one of her eyebrows.

Twenty minutes had passed and Max still hadn't budged. She kept glancing at the empty glass sadly and El noticed. Her heart ached every time she saw a frown on that girl's face, even if it was over something silly like chocolate milk. The brunette got up quickly, getting her girlfriend more of the sugary drink. "Stop with your sad eyes, they were too cute."

Max giggled and planted a big, wet kiss on Els lips. "Thank you honey, now please sit down! I wanna watch the rest of this movie with you!"

And El did, she sat down next to her girlfriend once again. Max curled up into her as the other girl played with her hair. It didn't even matter that this was a 'kids movie' or that they've seen it hundreds of times! All that mattered was that they were safe and happy and in each other's embrace.
