Chapter 4: Mudding

Evangeline and I are having so much fun mudding.

"Take that cowgirl!" I yell to her as I spray her with mud.

She laughs as she sprays me back.

This goes on for another hour. Me spraying her, her spraying me.

We could've gone much longer to, but someone had to stop us.

"Girls! Dinners in an hour, come wash off!" Kohl yells as he's riding toward us on his quad.

"Kohl! Not fair!" I whine.

"Yeah not fair party pooper!" Evangeline says revving her engine.

I get her message. Once we worked out a code. The message was when you rev your engine, you spray.

I rev my engine.

Evangeline shoots forward spraying Kohl, I follow her and also spray Kohl.

We turn our quads so we're looking at Kohl. When we do see him, we start laughing like crazy. His head is covered in mud and he's trying to wipe it off his face with his muddy hands.

He looks at us.

"You girls are gonna get it!" Kohl says to us before shooting forward.

Evangeline and I let out a small scream before shooting away from him.

Within 30 seconds it was a mud war between all three of us.

"Kohl!" Evangeline yells since he's pelting her with mud.

I go to help her by spraying Kohl with mud, and it works. He stops spraying Evangeline and comes after me.

I scream and move out of his way laughing.

Evangeline is chasing after Kohl trying to help me.

Kohl corners me between a set of trees and sprays me with mud.

Evangeline tries to cut off Kohl but he just sprays her with mud.

We all stop moving and just look at each other. We burst out laughing.

We stop when we hear a quad come toward us. We turn toward the sound ready to spray whoever came.

We all rev our engines.

Through the trees comes Zane on his quad.

"What do you want Zane?" I snap when he stops in front of us.

"Kohl you were supposed to get them inside, not join them." Zane says to Kohl ignoring me.

Kohl rolls his eyes. "Yeah that didn't happen." He says.

"Yeah I know!" Zane says.

Kohl revs his engine. He revs his engine once more.

Zane is the only one who doesn't know our message for mudding. For Kohl, Evangeline and I, we rev the engine twice. Evangeline and I rev our engines once.

Evangeline revs her engine twice.

And I rev mine twice.

"So why didn't you?" Zane asks eyeing us suspiciously.

Kohl shrugs and says "too fun." three seconds later Kohl shoots forward spraying Zane, then Evangeline sprays him yelling "take that asshole!", after she goes I go and I spray him more than the others. I want to get back at him for his water stunt earlier.

"What the hell?!?" Zane yells shaking mud off his hands.

"Don't mess with my best friend then!" Evangeline yells flipping him off.
