|| Part 11 - The Wall ||

Nobody's POV
Two years later and the cadets are still training. Some were running in the rain carrying weighted bags through the forest. The commander was yelling at them to hurry up but they all kept the same pace.

(There's these little descriptions of each character so I'mma just write each and then add ours they are from the commanders POV btw he said them lol).

Reiner Braun. The mind and Constitution of a grass-fed ox. Respected by his comrades (that didn't age well).

Armin arlert. Built like a daffodil, but academically brilliant.

Annie Leonhart. Gifted with a sword, but does not exactly play well with others.

Bertholdt Hoover. Heaps of native talent, but too mild-mannered.

Jean Kirschtein. Head of the class on ODM; also an insufferable smartass with a hair-trigger temper.

Sasha Braus. Unusually fine instincts. Rarely shares them with her teammates.

Connie Springer. Agile on the switchbacks. Few sandwiches shy of a picnic.

Mikasa Ackerman. Model cadet. Excels in everything. In fact, it's no overstatement to call the girl a genius.

Eren Jeager. Lackluster in the classroom, marginally better in the field. But. Driven by a sense of purpose that's almost terrifying.

Jess Bennett. Has good control on ODM gear and was the first to understand how to use the blades. However she isn't a fan on communicating to the others.

And finally.

Lucie Kinney. Despite her loud nature, she understands how to move quickly and quietly. Best way to describe her is sneaky and lightfooted. One of the best.

Jess's POV:
{After hand to hand combat and at lunch}
Me and Lucie were sitting at our table trying to eat when there was commotion behind us. I turn and to no surprise, it was Jean and Eren again...

Jean had his hand on Erens shirt only for Eren to take his hand and flip him on his back. I smirked at this only for Jean to speak up. "Dammit! What the hell was that move?" he spoke questioning Eren. "Little something I picked up this afternoon while you were busy with your thumb up your ass." Eren replied. I heard Lucie snort into her drink. And I turned back round to try and contain my laugh as I ate.

Eren spoke again. "You honestly believe the military police are your ticket to a good life? You're not a soldier. You're a joke." he spat. Silence filled the room. Then the front door opened, to reveal the commander. "Would someone like to explain the little ruckus I heard just now? I do hope everything's alright" he said in a threatening tone. Jean and Eren sat back down.

It was silent then "Sasha passes some gas, commandant." Mikasa stated. "Why am I not surprised?" the commander said. Sasha looked horrified. "For the love of god learn some self-control" the commander said walking out.

{A few days later}

No ones POV:
All cadets were standing in front of a tall castle like building waiting to select there regiment
"Do you have heart?" a commander asked. "Sir!" all cadets said in unison. "As of this moment, you have three options open to you. Chose wisely." the commander stated. "The Garrison regiment, whose job is to reinforce the walls. The scout regiment, who rides out into Titan country to take back what was once ours. And the MP regiment, maintaining law and order under orders from his Royal Majesty. Those cadets eligible for the MP have already been named. The rest of you take a look. These are the top of your class." the commander said.

In a line stood, mikasa, Reiner, bertholdt, Jess, Lucie, Annie, Eren, Jean, Marco, Connie, Sasha and Christa. Top of the class.

{Next day}

Jess's POV:
We were watching as the scouts came back before we were escorted to the top of the wall. We were cleaning out that canons as everyone started to bicker to each other "so you're actually gonna do it Connie?" I heard Lucie say. "O-of course! 100%!" he said back with a slightly confident smile. "Well I'll see you there I guess" Lucie said with a smile. "Wait you're joining the scouts as well?" Connie said shocked and confused. "Mhm!" Lucie hummed in agreement. "Me a Jess were planning to the whole time" Lucie said as the others looked to me and I nodded.

Then behind me spoke Sasha "can you guys keep a secret?" she said and we looked to her in confusion. "'Cause I totally just helped myself to the officers pantry" she said grinning and pulling out some meat. We were horrified. "Sasha! They can throw your butt in the clink for that!" Eren said concerned. "Sasha, I agree with most things you do but this is a stretch.." Lucie said.

"It'll be fine, I'm willing to share" Sasha said practically drooling. "Oh, can you imagine the sandwiches?!" she spoke highly. The others were telling her to put it back. Then everyone starts saying they'd like a piece. I join in and so does Lucie.

I smirked and we went back to work. "Hey do you recon we could move this?" Lucie said pointing to box as she walked towards it and suddenly there was a strong gust of wind followed by yellow sparks. I watched as everyone was flung off the top of the wall. I gathered my thoughts quickly as I saw Lucie unconscious, I grabbed her wrist and grappled to the wall. Watching as the others collected themselves and did the same.

I watched as Sasha grappled ahold of Samuel. He hung from his foot. I turned my attention back to Lucie as I was starting to lose my grip. "They're gonna get in!" I heard Connie yell. My eyes widened. "What just happened..?" I whispered to myself. Eren then started shouting stuff as he climbed the wall to the collosal Titan. But I was to focused on holding on to Lucie. Then suddenly, out of nowhere.
