Y/N's POV
I was running as fast as I could. Chikara challenged me to race him to school, maybe so we could get there faster? I have no idea, he doesn't even have morning practice. Today I was also supposed to help him with volleyball practice, even though he usually sits out, he's still the best volleyball player in my life, the brunette is my best friend after all. We make our way to the front of the school.
"Hah! I win!"
"No! We tied!" Chikara and I argued our way to our shoe lockers. Some people looked at us like we were crazy, like, how did we have the energy for this at 8:30 in the morning.
"Hey guys!" Noya ran up to us, Tanaka tagging along behind him.
"Hey Noya!" "Hey Noya."
"Ennoshita! Be a little more enthusiastic!"
"It's early morning!"
"We were arguing perfectly fine just before!"
"Yeah, but that's with you!"
"That's cute and all, but still!"
"This is when I wish you two really were soulmates." Tanaka laughs. Murmurs now floating around us. I guess people really did think we were soulmates. Maybe the platonic type of soulmates? I have no idea.
"Hey Y/N, we're all playing against each other again after school during practice! Wanna watch?" Noya blurts out.
"I mean sure! Chikara here would probably make me anyway, even if I didn't agree."
"I just want to make sure you're safe while walking home!"
"That's sweet!" Tanaka and Noya admired the interaction.
