Daichi's POV
Everyone's mindsets have been way off after Y/N's and Kiyoko's disappearances. Honestly, I blame myself for Kiyoko's disappearance, if only I could've stayed on the phone with her instead of starting a little argument. She was right, he's my friend, but it's obvious that he's a suspect if you take these past couple of years with Y/N into consideration, especially this month when everything started. He'd always disappear when Y/N went to class, always making excuses to leave our walks home when Y/N leaves, even the makeup smudges on the volleyballs. That's probably why he stayed in the club room that day.
God, everything was so obvious and I bet that I could've stopped it earlier if I only acknowledged it. Y/N is probably his soulmate, it would make sense. The only thing I'm confused about is why Y/N would be missing if he already had them spiritually.
Suddenly my phone rings, I jump at the unexpected sound. Quickly grabbing my phone, I answer without thinking.
"Hello? Is this Sawamura?"
"Uh, hi? Yeah, that's me."
"Okay, that's good. So I have a question."
"Who are you again?"
"Oh, right. I'm Semi Eita, one of Y/N's friends from Shiratorizawa." Wait, didn't someone from their volleyball team go missing too? I remember the two guys, along with a couple other guys from there.
"Oh! Yeah, sure. Ask whatever and I'll see if I can answer."
"It's more like a request, but if you could go to the police station with me and a couple others-"
"Wait, what?"
"We all decided to do our own mini investigation and since Y/N had hung around you a lot during this, we thought you'd like to join us."
