“What you might want this time?”

“Mr. Ken-”

“Doctor.”

“Mr. Ken, you said you got lucky that day. Then can you explain this?” Mr. Kang eyed him while placing the drug bottle on the table.

“What about this?” The dean was unfazed, contrary to what Mr. Kang expected.

“I want to know, why did you use this drug while all the other hospitals were using ketapracine?” Mr. Kang was noting his every movement, noticing anything suspicious.

“I told you we got lucky. Ketapracine was not available. The stock was over, so we ordered domazine for our emergency uses. Bad luck the other hospitals are suffering.”

“You are not going to speak.” Drake gritted his teeth.

They exited the building once again with no luck.

“This is leading to nothing Drake.” Mr. Kang said.

“Maybe we can check the sales report.” Drake replied.

“Yes I was about to do that. Let’s go and have lunch.”

“I will have one shin-ramyeon please.” Mr. Kang said. “Try it Drake. Taste our cuisine.”
Drake nodded.

“Then we will get two shin ramyeon.”

“Any lead on Amy’s death?” Drake asked.

“Actually I didn’t even start looking properly into it.”

“Well I asked her friends. They said she worked at a bar at night. I went there but they said she was on leave when the incident took place.” Drake said.

“You have to talk to the owner or some manager.” Mr. Kang quoted.

“Sir, your shin ramyeon. Enjoy your lunch.” The waiter placed and greeted them by bowing.

“Can I meet the manager of this club?” Drake requested the staff.

“Yes sir. Let me make a call.” The girl said and winked at him, to which Drake made face when she was not seeing.

“She will be here shortly sir. Kindly wait there.” The staff said checking him out.

Drake shook his head as he went to sit.

“Hello gentleman. Who you might be and what you want?” The lady gracefully headed towards him.

“Hello. I’m Drake from the prosecution office.”

“Regarding Amy’s death? If she works here, that doesn’t mean that she died because of that.”

“No, I didn’t mention anything about that. I was just here to ask where she was at that night. If you know anything please tell us.”

“She was on leave that day. She informed me that she won’t be coming.” The lady rather said hastily.

“Ok so yes the same answer. But she informed you, that she won’t be coming.” Drake note on his pocket book. “Shall I have your business card?”

He asked while handing out his own.

They exchanged their cards and Drake exited, again, with no progress. But he had something in his head. He headed straight for the detective’s office.

“Can I get the phone call log for this number? For the last one week.” He showed the card and waited for the report. “Please make it for a month.”

“Here you go sir.”

“Thank you.” Drake said and straight went for the office.

Another dead end. Nothing was found in the phone call log.

Drake was absent minded-ly going through Amy’s stuff, submitted to them by the detectives, when he found a card, seemingly new. A visiting card.  He pocketed it and dashed through the door as the new idea popped up in his mind.

He was now standing in front of the police office.

“Who reported the death case of Amy?” He asked as the officer was rummaging through some files.

“Why are you so worked up? Relax I will be there in 15 minutes.” The officer replied uninterestedly.

“Give me the god damn details!” He shouted as the office turned towards him.

He collected everything and was now sitting in front of Mr. Kang once again.

“By the way sir, I haven’t seen Evan all day.”

“Yeah. He was not feeling well today. So what’s all this?”

“Sir I collected the club manager’s call log. There was nothing suspicious about it. Then I found a new visiting card, like the newest looking one, in her purse. And then I went to police station and asked for the reporter of the murder. They gave me the details, though they already questioned him and gave me that report too.” Mr. Kang was going through all the evidences.

“The only thing left to do now is, visit this hotel.” Mr. Kang said pointing out the card.
