The whole rest of the day was a drag. Everyone was really nice though, especially this girl named Evelyn. I guess she was new too, but she's been here for a week. Everyone's been really welcoming and nice, I really like it here. I'm actually really excited to see Drew after school. Maybe Evelyn will be at his house too. I walked to my locker, and got my lock open in a breeze. I saw a tall figure walking my way, but didn't think anything of it. Until the boy got closer I realized it was Drew and flashed him a small smile.
"Ready to go?" He said shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Um yeah." I said slinging my backpack over my shoulder.
We walked out of the school doors, and towards his car. It as a silver SUV.
"Did you get a lot of homework?" Drew asked glancing at me.
"No, I didn't get any actually. I finished my math in my study haul." I said nodding my head.
"Oh good, I didn't. I don't really get it." He said biting down on his lip, thinking about it.
"Oh well I mean I could help you with it." I said, my cheeks turning roses red.
"Really? Awesome! That would help so much." He said patting my shoulder.
I don't know why, but it suddenly got really hot in the car. I was almost sweating. I nodded my head and grabbed ,y bottle for a drink. I noticed that Drew was staring at me the whole time. What was I doing? Maybe I just look weird. I am ugly too.
"What?" I said cocking an eyebrow up.
"Nothing." He said smirking.
"Did I do something?" I asked biting my lip.
"No, Ashley if you really want to know why I always look at you, it's because your eyes are amazing. I've never seen any like the, before. There beautiful, green like the forest trees." He said smiling to himself.
At first I didn't know what to say. Did this guy really just say my eyes were like trees? Is that even a compliment? I didn't really know what to think of it, it's not like I've ever been complimented before. I sat there once again like an idiot, trying to think of a response to his compliment, but nothing came to me.

I glanced over at him and his cheeks were tomato red. He looked really embarrassed. I felt bad I hope I didn't make him feel like this. What should I say?

"I'm sorry I shouldn't of said that." He mumbled fighting his grip on the wheel.
"It's fine, really. Thank you." I said smiling a little.
The rest of the car ride was a little bit awkward, but it wasn't so bad. When we finally got to his house we both plopped down on the couch and just sat there for a while.
"Whatcha wanna do?" He asked me turning his head to look at me.
"I don't know, watch a movie maybe?" I said shrugging my shoulder.
"Okay! I'll invite Evelyn, Kayli, Danny, and Jake." He said smiling.
He pulled out his phone and started typing away. Before I knew it I was on my phone too, scrolling through Instagram looking at all the stupid pictures people post. I felt the couch sink in next to me and I turned my head to see what it was. I saw Drew plop down next to me.
"There all coming." He said sighing afterwards.
I nodded my head while he scrolled through the movie choices. I started to wonder where his parents where. My parents where never home, always in business trips and such. They're always gone for months at a time, and although I guess I kinda like the freedom, I still want parents. I don't really know how it is to have parents, so if they ever did come home more it would feel weird.
"Wanna watch the conjuring?" He asked casually.
"Oh no, that's okay." I said quickly.
"Why not? Please?" He said pouting.
"I'm not really good with scary movies." I said quietly.
"Okay, I'll be right back." He said standing up and running upstairs.
Oh gosh what now? I've embarrassed myself enough today. I mean I froze up in front of him like twenty times, and now I'm acting like a baby saying I'm afraid of scary movies. I can't help it though! I don't like that paranormal weird stuff, I don't understand how it actually interest some people. Like really how could you actually enjoy a movie that scared you half to death?
"I'm back." He said grinning. He was holding a huge stuff animal teddy bear.
"When you get scared you'll have him. I used to use this all the time when I was little." He said handing it to me.
"Aw thanks." I said laughing a little. Well if this isn't embarrassing I don't know what is.
"Why do you always blush?" He asked curiously.
"You do it too." I said giggling a little bit.
"Not as much as you." He said sitting down next to me again.
"True, and I don't know. It's embarrassing that I have to use a teddy bear." I said laughing.
"No it's not it's cute. Do you really not want to use a teddy bear?" He asked smirking.
"Not really." I said honestly.
"Okay fine, you can use me, but only this once." He said grabbing the teddy bear.
"I never said I needed you." I said laughing a little.
"You didn't have to." He said winking, and walking back upstairs to his room.
