Chapter 11

Ashley's Pov
I woke up, and checked the time. It was 6:45. I looked around, and realized I was at Drews house. I had fifteen minutes to drive to Zachs house, and get ready. I looked beside me to see Drews arms hanging around my waist.
I tried to get up, but his grip tightened. I laughed a little, and shook his shoulders to wake him up.
"Drew." I whispered.
"Mmmm what?" He groaned.
I giggled, and de tangled myself from him. As soon as I got up he pulled my back by my waist, making me fall into him. I couldn't help but laugh. He's so adorable.
"I have to go. It's 6:45." I said standing back up.
I wanted to stay, believe me. I never wanted to leave him. I've never really felt this way about someone. It's just something about him, makes me so happy. I love this feeling, I never want it to go away. It almost scares me that it might.
"I'll pick you up at 7:50." He mumbled.
"Okay." I said smiling.

I walked into the condos, and saw Zach sleeping on the couch. He looked so peaceful. I dicieded to just leave him alone. I shut the door, and walked into my room. I wanted to look nice today, and it was beautiful outside. I decided to wear a simple white lace dress. I wore gold-ish flats with them. I curled my hair, and pinned my bangs back. I put on a little bit of makeup, and went downstairs to eat.
I grabbed an apple, and sat down to eat it.
Zach Wales into the room, and looked a little bit confused. I laughed and ruffled his hair.
"What's up sleepy head?" I said taking a bite of my apple.
"What? I'm not tired." He said yawning.
I laughed before replying, "okay."
"Hey, where were you last night? I was a little worried." He said furrowing his eyebrows.
I shifted uncomfortably. I can't believe I forgot to tell him I was staying at Drews. Hopefully he wouldn't get mad. I don't think he would. That's not like me to do that. I'm usually responsible, and always tell ,my laments what I'm doing.
"Shoot, I'm sorry. I forgot to text you. I was at my friend Drews house last night. I was helping him study, and I guess I just blacked out." I said nodding my head.
"Drew? He's just a friend right?" He said sternly.
"Yes." I said smiling.
"Alright, don't do it again." He said.
I laughed a little. I could tell he was trying to act like a parent, but it just wasn't really working for him.
"Hey, I'm trying." He said in defense.
"I know." I said throwing away the core of my apple. I checked the time, and it was 7:47. Just in time for Drew.
I threw on a jacket, got my backpack, and opened the door.
"Woah, woah, woah. You're not going anywhere yet kiddo." Zach said.
"What did I forget?" I sighed turning around.
He had his arms open, and I rolled my eyes laughing. He hugged me, patting my back, and shutting the door after I ran out to the car.
"Morning sleepyhead." I said, buckling up.
"Good morning." Drew said smiling.
I looked in the rear view mirror as we driving away. I saw a firmiliar blonde walk up to Zachs condo. I cringed, that's not her is it? ~+~
