Chapter 28

Frank leads Gerard over to a small table in the corner of the restaurant "ok, you're not allowed to look at prices, I'll read out the menu and you choose" Frank said making Gerard whine "but I don't want you spending too much"

Frank rolled his eyes "babe I'm a fucking millionaire, I can order you everything from the menu and I would barely notice the drop of money in my bank account" he said with a small chuckle at the end, Gerard blushed as Frank started reading things off the menu.

They got the most expensive bottle of wine there was, Frank got a veggie lasagna while Gerard got lobster since he had never had it before and was desperate to try it.

Once the food got there the couple ate in a comfortable silence, exchanging small comments every now and then.

When they finished Frank payed the bill and they took the rest of their wine back to the room with them.

Currently the couple sat on the bed kissing, nothing sexual, only romantic.

Gerard put his hands on the sides of Franks face while Franks hands roamed up and down Gerard's sides.

Frank pulled away and pressed his forehead against Gerard's, their eyes were closed as they held each other close.

They didn't say anything all the done was savour the moment.

Gerard would play with a strand of Frank hair every now and then while Frank held Gerard's hips firmly.

"Oh I almost forgot about the champagne" Frank said as he turned around and laid Gerard down "I'll be back in a minuet cutie" he whispered before pecking Gerard's lips softly.

Frank walked over to the mini bar and poured two glasses of champagne, he looked over his shoulder briefly to see Gerard picking up his phone.

Frank gulped and nervously dropped the 24K gold ring in the glass.

Frank took a deep breath before walking back over to the bed "I would like to make a toast" he said as he handed Gerard the glass with the ring in it.

Gerard dint notice as he looked into Franks eyes "I'm so glad I met you Gerard, you taught me what love was, what true love is, and I hope to spend the rest of my life with you" Frank said softly.

Gerard couldn't help but smile as he held his glass up slightly, just below his eyes "to us"

Frank gulped "t-to us"

Gerard was confused at Franks stutter, the older mans eyes nervously watched the ring at the bottom of Gerard's glass.

Gerard furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and looked at the glass with Frank.

Gerard gasped and got off the bed, he put his hand on top of the glass before turning it upside down not caring that he got champagne all over the floor.

He looked down at the beautiful ring in his hand before looking at Frank hopefully "i-is this what I think it is"

Frank nervously put his glass down before taking the ring from a Gerard's hand "y-yes it is" he stuttered before getting down on one knee "Gerard Arthur Way, will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me to become Gerard Iero-Way"

Gerard's hands covered his mouth as Frank looked up at him, fear was flashing through his eyes and Gerard couldn't help but nod his head quickly, tears brining his eyes.

Frank stood up and took Gerard's hand in his before slipping the ring on "oh my god, we're gonna get married"

Frank nods his head with a grin "yeah" he whispered out before tears also brimmed his eyes "I love you so much" he whimpered out before wrapping his arms  around Gerard's neck.

Gerard's arms wrapped around Franks ribcage "Frankie why are you crying"

Frank squeezed Gerard a little more "I thought you were gonna say no, I never thought in my life I'd get married, but I am, I'm gonna get married" he said as he pulled away slightly, their arms still wrapped around each other as they stared into each other's eyes.

Gerard put his hand on the sides of Franks face "we're gonna get married, I'm gonna be with you for the rest of my life"

Frank also put his hands onto the sides of Gerard's head "we're gonna be together forever" Gerard nods his head in happiness and disbelief "forever" he whispered before pressing his lips to Franks passionately.

Frank kissed with all the love and passion in his body as Gerard did the same.

When they pulled away Gerard caressed Franks cheek "you're gonna be my handsome groom"

Frank grinned "and you're gonna be my beautiful bride, wait groom in a dress, wait no" Gerard laughed lovingly and pressed his three middle fingers against Franks lips "I dunno what the fuck I'm gonna be but I don't care, I'm gonna marry you and that's all that matters to me"

Frank chuckled breathlessly "I love you Gerard Iero-Way"

Gerard grinned "I love you too Frank Iero-Way"
