TW: Emotional breakdown

Schlatt was worried to say the least, Tubbo had gone a couple days ago, saying he was going to stay at Tommy's. He hadn't come back. This wasn't the first time this had happened, the going over to Tommy's house and staying the night without telling him, not the not coming back the next day. He had given him the benefit of the doubt, he was actually pretty responsible when he wanted to be. Might as well check in.
Making his way towards Phil's house, he tried to keep all of his worries at bay. What if he's hurt? What if he got kidnapped? What if something happened to him? Finally, he arrived. Mouth agape, Schlatt stared at the scene in front of him.
The door was bashed in, why was the door bashed in? Rushing inside, Schlatt took in the broken home. The table was in splinters, pillows strewn across the floor. Why is there blood? Oh gosh, why is there blood?
"Tubbo? Phil? Tommy? Techno?" No answer. His heart beating furiously, he ran through all of the rooms, his eyes scanning every surface for some kind of sign of where his precious son went. The upstairs was in a similar disarray, the blankets in the chicken hybrid's room tossed carelessly on the ground, cracked toys fractured from who knows what. "Tubbo?" he called once again. No answer.
Sprinting out of the house, the ram hybrid looked out at the surrounding forest. Fuck. Running back inside, he searched through the various cupboards and drawers, trying to find something. Bingo. Grabbing the flashlight, he flicked it on, making sure it worked.
Starting his trek, he moved through the woods, occasionally shouting the names of the various missing hybrids. Every noise seemed amplified, each snap of a twig had him whipping around, searching for the source. Where are you? It was getting really dark, he had flicked on the flashlight not that long ago.
He was tired, he was hungry, he was hopeless. But he couldn't give up, he wouldn't. Snap. His head snapped towards the sound, his ears twitching slightly as he listened for any residual. He heard a low murmuring, is that a voice? He started running towards the noise, desperate. Branches whipped his face as he sprinted towards his only hope. Please be Tubbo. Please be Tubbo. Please be Tubbo. Please be Tubbo. Skidding to a stop, he listened again. Snap. He started running again.
He came across a clearing, a fire pit in the middle, logs surrounding it. Smoke still curled up from the extinguished flames, footprints littering the dirt. No... Sinking to the ground, he sobbed. Tears blurred his vision as his hands tried desperately to wipe them away. He lost him.

They had left the camp that morning, starting their journey towards the facility. They had considered having Ranboo teleporting them, but quickly discarded the idea after realizing how badly that could end up. I'll always be here. The words echoed within Dream's head, never quite grasping the meaning.
His parents held the exact opposite beliefs of him, frequently being jerks to hybrids. They had never approved of his friendship with Sapnap, and certainly hated the fact that he apologized to as many people that they wronged as he could. Because to him they weren't monsters, or even hybrids, they were just people.
That type of thinking was exactly what had gotten him kicked out of his house. To say staying at Sapnap's had been quite a refreshing experience would be an understatement to say the least. Of course he was nervous, and of course it was a bit odd, but in a good way. There was no yelling, no fighting, he didn't have to try to explain his beliefs. They also hadn't commented on the mask he always wore.
Speaking of his mask, he missed it. He wasn't quite sure why he had started wearing it, but it effectively blocked all of his emotions to the outside world. His parents never saw the tears pouring down his face as they hurt yet another living being. Never saw his "weakness" when it came to the violence inflicted. That's why he had learned how to fight, so he could help those who couldn't help themselves. And it came in handy, when he had, as Sapnap put it, challenged half the school.
This wasn't the first time the blaze hybrid had seen his face, he obviously kept it on most of the time, but he trusted Sapnap. He wasn't quite sure why, but he did.
Yay! Tada! I hope you all have an amazing day/night, 'cause you're awesome!
