A/N: This was fun to write, though now I have to get ready for my sport so enjoy!

"What the fuck?!" Tommy cried as they ran through the halls, stumbling over his feet. Niki was right behind them, the shorter girl trying her hardest to keep up with their long strides. As soon as they had removed her band, all of the alarms had triggered, which was why they were running, trying desperately to get to Wilbur's cell.

"Almost there." Dream panted, making the final turn. Fumbling with the ID card he held it up to the scanner, Techno breathing down his neck didn't help either. Click. The door swung open, revealing an empty room.

"Where is he?" the pig hybrid demanded, and all Dream could do is give him a helpless shrug, he had no idea.

Wilbur was tired. He was trapped in another nightmare, but it was real this time. The Doctor was staring at him, studying him, waiting for him to do his "job". Compliance. Tentatively opening his mouth, he went through the routine, making various sounds, his throat hating him in the meantime.

I want to go home. But where was home? Was it with Niki? Was it with Phil? Was it here? The facility was the only home he had ever known. But what defines that four letter word? Is it your place of residence? Is it where you feel safe? Is it where your loved ones reside? He supposed it depended on your point of view.

"Why did you stop?" The Doctor asked, jolted the boy back to reality, the lingering stare sending shivers down his spine. The chills formed a haunting melody, an enchanting song that echoed throughout his body. Just begging to be released. Opening his mouth once more, the siren scowled as he repeated the "exercise".

Not yet. He did not need to be reminded what happened to his vocal chords last time he had used his power. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The sudden alarm made him jump. Red lights flashed as people rushed by, their silhouettes barely visible through the cloudy glass in the door. Glancing at The Doctor, his face remained unfazed, but the tightness in his posture told Wilbur otherwise.

The song was still begging to be unleashed, the eerie music sitting just on the tip of his tongue. It would be so easy. It would be so easy just to let it go. So he did.

The sound tore through his body, the ghostly tune filling the space. Golden light seemed to fill Wilbur's pale complexion, seemingly giving it new life. Silver and blue specks danced through the air, somehow adding to the magic that already enthralled the place. Wilbur felt like he was floating, lighter than a feather, free from all burdens and pain. There was no worrying, there was no anguish. It was peaceful, everything was in line, perfect, just the way he wanted.

"Wilbur!" A sound cut through the silence. He knew that voice. Where had he heard it. The noise was sweet, high and comforting. The words seemed to hover, slowly floating down, and entering his ears. "Wilbur are you OK?" The song had stopped, the melody lost, though it still lingered within the space.

"Niki?" he rasped, his eyes opening slightly, squinting in the light.

"Oh my gosh, Wilbur." she cried, holding him tightly.

"I hate to break up the moment here, but we have to go." Tommy interrupted.

"For once I agree with the child." Techno stated, "Let's get outta here." Niki glanced at Wilbur, taking in his exhausted state. He nodded.

"Let's go." she agreed.

I hope you all have a wonderful day/night, you guys always make mine!
