The hum of the rover and Jasper's music blasting on the radio penetrated Clove's ears and her thoughts. She closed her eyes and sat back against the seat, allowing her thoughts to drift away for the moment. Her head was consistently bouncing against the metal walls of the vehicle but she ignored it, along with the rest of her surroundings. Except she couldn't escape the stare that was a practically setting her skin on fire.

Clove opened her eyes suddenly to find Miller observing her. "What?" She snapped. When he shrugged and looked away, Clove rolled her eyes. She sat there watching the outside world pass her by as everybody else sang along to the song on the radio. When the rover's tracking system, she barely even sent a glance toward the front of the vehicle.

"A tracking beacon from the Ark," Monty informed as the music was shut off and Raven slowed the car.

Jasper ducked in to complain. "Hey, that was the best part."

"Who is that?" Bellamy inquired.

Monty read the screen in front of him. "Farm Station."

Miller blinked a few times. "After... After four months? How?" He stuttered.

"We'll find out," Bellamy assured. "Where are they?"

As he spoke, Octavia pulled open the back doors of the rover. "Don't tell me I missed the party."

"Sector 8."

"That's Ice Nation," Miller noted. The people in the group were all exchanging looks, save for Jasper and Clove, who both focused on other things of little importance. She couldn't help but wonder what Murphy was doing right now. She wondered if he was even alive at all. Most of all, Clove wondered if he had been thinking about her as much as she had been thinking about him.

"What about it?"

"Protocol says we go home," Raven chimed in. "Let the chancellor decide what to do next."

Bellamy shook his head. "Screw protocol. The chancellor's not from farm station. Monty is, so is Miller's boyfriend," He nodded towards Miller. "It's your call."

Both boys agreed to move forward and the rover lurched forward just as quickly as it had stopped. Raven sped through the barren land until Monty announced that they were close. The vehicle came to a stop once again and everybody unloaded themselves.

"These woods must be the border," Bellamy said, keeping his gun close to his body as he scanned the tree line.

"So, where's all the ice?" Jasper questioned, walking forward with his hands wrapped around the straps of his vest loosely.

"So much for ice nation," Clove muttered, kicking around the rocks that were around her boots.

"It's much farther north," Octavia informed them. "Azgeda stretches for 1,000 miles."

"Good thing we only have to go 200 meters."

"Slow down," Bellamy raised his arm out in front of Monty to stop him. "Remember rules of engagement are non-lethal force. Tight formation on my command. Clove, on my right. Raven, you stay in the rover."

Since the end of Mount Weather's reign of terror and Clove's traumatic self revelations, she had been devoting more of her time to practicing her marksmanship and combat skills. She never really found herself in a mood to spend time with her family or hang out with her (kind of) friends. So, while she probably would not ever be Bellamy's right hand woman when it came to decision making or trust, he could always count on Clove to hit her mark.

"Yeah right," Raven responded, giving Bellamy a look.

"We every gun we can get."

"They're coming," Monty informed them and began counting down the meters. Clove, Miller, Bellamy, and Raven raised their weapons and spread out into formation. "They're our people. What are you-"
