With the good guys — that's what Clove liked to call Clarke, Bellamy, Abby, etc. when they went out to do heroic things — getting ready to leave for Mount Weather, there weren't many people that Clove felt she needed to pester. And was grateful for that. After spilling her entire life story to John Murphy, she was feeling rather drained since it had been about two years since she'd told that story in full. The emotional baggage that came with her story was exhausting.

"Well, if it isn't my favorite killer bee." Speaking of exhausting, Clove thought.

"Really?"

"Okay, maybe that was in poor taste," Murphy shrugged.

She rolled her eyes; the joke was insensitive after she'd essentially just confessed her sins, but somehow she knew he had no malicious intent for once. Clove's dark, velvety eyes raked his appearance. "God, don't tell me I don't look as bad as you do right now," She reached a hand up to toy with a strand of his hair that had separated from the rest.

"Hate to break it to you," He smiled sarcastically as he grabbed her wrist and moved her fingers away from his hair. "But you look worse. Your cave dweller days did not treat you well."

Clove snorted loudly, the skin around her eyes crinkling. "You wound me, John Murphy."

"Maybe we should sneak out of this prison and find somewhere to clean up." Clove raised her full eyebrows at his suggestion. "It doesn't have to be like that... unless you want it to be."

"You should consider making your efforts to get into my pants more subtle. Desperation isn't a good look on you," Clove berated, fake pouting at the delinquent.

"If you'd like to continue looking like a troll who lives under a bridge, be my guest, Clo." Was that the first time he called her a nickname like that? He'd called her other things — hot stuff, bitch, and recently, killer bee — but this nickname felt different. It was almost like he didn't realize he'd called her that and it just slipped out. It made Clove feel funny, to say the least.

"Fine," She recovered, pushing the weird feeling down. "Only because I'm tired of you being the only person pining after me."

"We can try to leave with the rescue group, if we're quiet maybe they won't notice us," Murphy suggested.

"Because we're both so good at being quiet," Clove scoffed, glancing behind her towards the gate. "Whatever, I think Bellamy and Clarke have accepted me as not the worst person in the world."

The two teenagers waited leisurely near the camp's gate. When the good guys approached the gate, it was opened and Clove and Murphy trailed behind them, leaving a small space. The guard manning the gate had seen Clove enter camp with Bellamy and didn't find it odd that she was with them again.

As soon as the hit the tree-line, Murphy and Clove shared a glance and separated from everybody else. "You'd think they would have noticed the two most obnoxious kids in camp," Clove pointed out.
