The next morning came around quickly as the girl slept with a smile on her face from the text she had received from Oikawa when she arrived home after leaving the diner. It was a short text that informed her that it was him so that when he did call her, she wouldn't be alarmed when a random number came through.

Getting out of bed, she crawled over to her window and threw back the curtains, grimacing when the bright light outside burned her eyes for a moment. Tsukishima stood in his room with his back facing towards her, his window wide open for the girl who liked to talk early in the morning whenever she woke up.

"Morning," greeted the girl who grinned. The boy merely glanced over his shoulder before snickering.

"Your hair looks terrible as usual." He pointed out, adjusting his glasses while placing the picture frame he was holding back on the shelf. "Go brush your teeth. I can practically smell your morning breath from here."

She rolled her eyes, flipping him the finger. "Quit being dramatic. I'll brush it in a little while." A sigh slipped past her lips as she rested her cheek against the window sill. "Wanna watch a movie today? Mom's gonna visit Dad, so I'll be home alone today."

The boy hesitated for a moment before shrugging. "Whatever."

It wouldn't be the first time she had invited him over to watch a movie while her family was gone but circumstances were slightly different this time around. Tsukishima didn't exactly think he was going to do anything of the sort when he went over there because he wasn't going to ruin his friendship with her over some innate desire that he could easily refrain from acting upon. He wasn't weak-minded, and his respect for her and her boundaries were high, which is why he was reluctant to overstep any lines.

"Okay," she hummed, resting her cheek against her window sill when she began to doze off a little. It didn't last long because of the blond who decided to slam his window shut, jolting her awake. It made her heart race to hear such a loud sound all of sudden, scaring the crap out of her. "I hope you get a blister between your toes, asshat!"

Ten minutes after they had both gotten ready for a lazy day, Tsukishima exited his front door and walked over to the house beside his, not bothering to knock as he entered wordlessly. The girl was laid on the couch with a bowl of popcorn on her chest, her hand rummaging through the popcorn to find the arare that had fallen to the bottom. Upon his arrival, she grinned and perked up. "Perfect timing! The movie just started!"

"What movie?" Tsukishima asked as he walked around the couch, picking up her feet to sit down before resting her feet in his lap like he usually did. The girl turned up the volume with the remote, giggling impishly as if she had done something bad. "I swear to god, if it's another Barbie movie-"

"No!" She sputtered out a laugh when his expression filled with such distaste that she found it amusing. Nothing was more funny than his strong dislike for the Barbie movies she had tortured him with by forcing him to watch religiously. His blatant disregard for the true beauty of Barbie movies was actually something that induced laughter out of her, and he soon followed suit with a simple chuckle. "It's 'Godzilla versus Kong.'"

"Oh god," Tsukishima muttered as he threw his head back, scrunching his face together in displeasure.

"What?"

"No," he lifted his hips to fish his phone out of his pocket, unlocking the mobile and going straight onto Instagram to open the direct message he had with Yamaguchi. "Yamaguchi sent me this weird ass video he saw on his timeline and it ruined this movie for me."

The girl didn't even have to ask what it was about because the video instantly began playing. In less than a moment, the popcorn in her mouth was lodged in her throat as she laughed maniacally at the video Yamaguchi had sent to Tsukishima earlier that day. The girl rolled to the side to put her hands on the ground and cough harshly when her laughter made the particles of popcorn in her throat reverberate. Tsukishima cocked an eyebrow, awkwardly reaching out to pat her back when she began to cough dryly and hold her throat from too much laughter. It was quite amusing to see her have such a strong reaction to the video that only managed to make him chuckle emptily earlier. "You're gonna choke like that."
