Class is finally over, but that also means I'm going to meet Luke's friends. I'm nervous about it. What if they don't like me? I regret saying yes to his offer.

'Ready to meet my friends?' Luke asks as he walks up to me. 'Yeah' I answer. I follow Luke to the front of the school and see a group of about ten people. There are only two girls. Luke and I join the group. 'So this is the girl you talked about?' some guy asks. I can't help but feel my cheeks get red. 'You must be Katie' another guy says. I nod. 'Well, it's nice to meet you. My name is Kevin'. 'I'm Keith' another guy says. Everyone starts introducing themselves. Wow. That's a lot of names to remember.

Before I realize it, it is already six o'clock. We walk back to the school car park and I see Liam's car. I wave goodbye to Luke and his friends and get into the car. "Did you have a good time?" Liam asks. I nod. "They are all so nice! I think I will like it here". "Great!" Liam says as we drive home.

When I get home I check my phone and see that I have been added to a group app.

 Group chat

Keith: Hey Kat! I hope you liked hanging out with us! We should do this more often!

Sophie: He's right! We could use some more girls:)

Kat: I had a lot of fun! Thanks for inviting me

I smile and put my phone away. 'Who are you texting?' Niall asks curiously as he sits next to me. 'The people I hung out with today' I respond. 'You should invite them over sometime' Liam interferes. 'Maybe I will.'
