Perfect Night

Months, passed by. Today is Christmas. Ang unang pasko na makakasama ko sa Abdiel. Masasabi ko na masaya ang mga nakalipas na buwan. As days passed by I keep on calling and falling for Abdiel. Kada araw ay may natutuklasan ako sa kaniya na makakapagpa hanga sa akin. Marami kaming naging maliliit na tampuhan sa isa't isa sa nakalipas na mga buwan ngunit nareresolba din at hindi tumatagal ng isa araw.

After he confessed that I am his first love, I think we became more closed, more open to each other, and more stronger. The bond between us is unbreakable. And the trust for each other is unbelievable.

I am preparing my clothes for today. Abdiel book a restaurant somewhere I don't know. We have a date later.

I am putting make up on my face when I heard my mother's voice.

"Alondra, nandito na ang boyfriend mo!" Sigaw niya. Si Mama, masasabi ko sa nakalipas na buwan ay naging okay na siya. Hindi ko masabing naka move on na siya kay Papa at nakalimutan na niya ito dahil miski ako ay hindi iyon magagawa. Hindi ko alam pero ang sabi ni Anais ay hindi lang pinapakita ni Mama na nalulungkot siya pero umiiyak daw ito sa gabi. 

Binilisan ko na ang pag aayos at mabilis na bumaba. I saw Abdiel sitting on the couch while waiting for me. I smiled at him and walked towards his direction. He has a smirk plaster in his lips.

"Good afternoon, Mister..." I smirk, he smirk and encircle his arms on my waist.

"Good afternoon din, Misis..." Hinila niya ako pakandong sa lap niya. Umirap ako at maarteng umirap sa kaniya.

"Umalis na kayo nako! Gagabihin na kayo, dito pa kayo naglandian!" Ani Mama na kakapasok lang sa sala. Natawa kami pareho ni Abdiel at tumayo na.

"Ang sweet naman ng mga to! Tawagan ko nga ang Baby ko!" I chuckled upon hearing my sister's voice.

"Aalis na po kami, Tita." Hinalikan ni Abdiel ang pisngi ni Mama at ako din sa kabilang pisngi ni Mama.

"Hey, Sis! Aalis na kami!" I shouted, Tumingin siya sa amin at sumaludo.

"Bye, Sis!" Abdiel shouted too. Ate Zab welcomed her with her middle finger.

I laughed so hard while we're walking outside. We went to his car. He open the door for me and fasten my seatbelt. Umikot siya pakabila at nagmaneho na.

"Didn't know that your sister is bitter." And he chuckled. I laughed.

"Her boyfriend is always busy because he's a lawyer." Hanggang ngayon nga pala ay hindi niya pa nakikita si Keegan.

"Your sister is a doctor." He reminded, I chuckled and nodded.

"So, where are we going?" I asked and wiggled my eyebrows. He chuckled and kiss my hand. He didn't answer.

Nag kwentuhan kami habang nagma maneho siya. Nag mag parada na siya ay tumingin ako sa labas at nakita ang ang restaurant kung saan kami unang nag date.

Abdiel open the door for me. We walked inside the restaurant.

"It's close." I said, He shook his head and lock his lips.

"I rented the whole restaurant for today, Baby. For you... Gusto kita masolo." And he wink.

Ang harot!

Pumasok kami sa loob, Madaming roses na nagkakalat sa sahig. There's a group of men holding a bunch of instruments. When they saw us, they started performing.

"Prepared huh?" I asked, he wiggled his eyebrows and smirk at me.

"Of course, Baby. For you!" And he wink again.

"Huwag ka ngang kindat ng kindat diyan!" Saway ko.

"Bakit, Baby? Kinikilig ka ba?"

"Halata ba?" He laughed and held my waist as he guide me walked towards the table.

He pulled a chair for me. I sat and say my thanks. May lumapit na isang staff sa akin at inabutan ako ng bouquet of red roses.

"I'm speechless!" I hissed and laughed. Nilapag ko ang bouquet sa tabihan ko at nagsimula na kami kumain.

"Let's have a toast." He said, Tumango ako at kinuha ang wine glass ko. Tumayo siya kaya tumayo din ako. We have a toast.

"For more Christmas together." I nodded.

"Yes! For more Christmas together to come!" Pinagdikit namin ang dalawang kopita at masayang kumain.

After we finished eating the steaks. He offered me his hand as a sign that he's asking me for a dance.

"Okay..." I held his hand and smiled at him. Pumunta kami sa gitna at doon sumayaw.

"Are you happy?" He asked, I nodded.

"More than happy! This is wonderful, Abdiel." Pinagdikit ko ang mga noo namin habang patuloy kaming se sway.

"I'm glad you like it."

"I love it!" He chuckled and kiss my forehead. Natahimik kami at tanging ang instruments lamang ang aming naririnig sa buong restaurant.

Nang mapagod kami ay naupo ulit kami. The staff serve the dessert.

"Ang sarap nito, Babe! Tikman mo." Nilapit ko sa kaniya ang spoon na may laman na strawberry cake

"Too sweet!" He shook his head,. I laughed at him. I already expected his reaction.

I am telling him a story and he can't stop laughing at my silly stories.

"By the way, I have a gift for you!" I took my bag and took the box.

"You don't have to, Wave, Baby. Staying with me and still counting is a very perfect gift for me." I shook my head and open the box.

Kinuha ko ang silver bangle inilahad ko ang kamay ko sa kaniya. He smiled and put his hand on my hand. I put the silver bangle in his hand.

The silver bangle has an engrave name on it on the inside. It's says Abdiel and Alondra. And on the outside, there's a word engrave on it. Te Amo.

"Te Amo..." He read, He smiled at me and nodded.

"It's beautiful, I love it. Hindi ko ito tatangalin." Tinagilid ko ang mukha ko at tumingin sa kaniya.

"Dapat lang, Abdiel. Kapag hindi ay lagot ka sa akin!" He chuckled and salute to me. I chuckled too.

"I have a gift for you too..." May kinuha siya sa coat niya. It's a small box.

Binigay niya iyon sa akin.

"Wow!" Ani ko habang tinitignan ang necklace na binigay niya. The gold necklace has an A pendant. Ang A non ay may diamond sa mga gilid.

"Let me put it." He said, inabot ko sa kaniya ang box. Tumayo siya at pumunta sa likuran ko. I shove my hair to my shoulder.

"Alondra and Abdiel... Always and forever." He whispered on me. I look at him behind me and smiled.

"I love you." I said, He kissed my lips and smiled.

"I love you too." He claimed my lips once more. I smiled, happily. I feel so euphoric.

"Don't remove that, Baby. That's my mark for you, it means hindi ka na pwede sa iba dahil akin ka na." He whispered.

"Yes, Boss!"

"You should say, Yes Baby!" He said, I shook my head to tease him. He frown.

"You're really good at ruining the moment, Baby."

I laughed, "Not really." I said. Humarap ako sa kaniyam

I cupped his cheeks. "Yes, Baby. Hindi ko ito tatangalin. Para sa ikakapanatag ng isip mo. Baka hindi ka makatulog eh!" I laughed, He pouted and tried to kiss me but I can't help myself but to laugh so hard.

"I will always love you. You are my home, My everything." He whispered. "Today's so perfect." I nodded.

Indeed, Baby. Today's indeed perfect. Sana hindi matapos. Sana walang katapusan. Sana walang hadlang.

"Merry Christmas!" I greeted, and kiss his cheeks. He nodded and greets me back.

"Merry Christmas!"
