Chapter 6- Stay With Me

Harry's P.O.V.

"So tell me, why is Simon making us do this? I bet you it doesn't even work." I groan in frustration, I don't want to go to this little 'concert' Brielle has for us. But, what the boss says, you do.

Zayn looks at me amused, "It works, trust me. Little Mix took all the songs she performed, and Perrie said she does songs for almost anyone you could think of." I only shake my head, he's delusional. I bet she can't write a song for her life.

"I talked to her yesterday, and she told me all of the songs she sings at the cafe she's written. Can you believe that?" Louis says shocked, it's mostly directed towards the other lads, as he knows I despise her. I completely and utterly dislike this girl. I won't say the 'h' word, because that's rude. If I were to, I would say it.

Liam looks a little taken aback, "Really? So she writes quite a few good songs.." Louis nods happily at Liam, "Maybe it's good she's the one writing for us, also, I think we should do one of those private sessions with her that Zayn was talking about. I don't want her to write the WHOLE album. Again apparently."

"I can't believe she wrote our album without us knowing, that's bloody crazy," Niall adds in, his eyes widening. I roll my eyes, these lads are acting as if she's their idol.

"C'mon Haz, she's not bad once you know her, honestly." Louis explains, patting me on the shoulder. "You've got to give her a chance at some point, I mean, we're all friends with her now. You're the only one who's not."

I roll my eyes at him, "That's because I don't want to be friends with her, I could make her my friend at any point, and I will. Just you lads watch. She'll be at my feet in no time." I smirk at them, I could do this in a heartbeat.

I open the door to the practice stage, and look around, it looks the same as a small theater. I sit down in the back and cross my arms over my chest. I watch as all of the lads take their seats near the front without me. I huff and look back at the stage. Then, I take out my phone, and unlock it. I play a couple of games and go on twitter, trying to look busy. I hear the boys laughing a few rows away. I look and see them all doubled over in laughter. I feel a pang of jealousy hit me. I'm losing my friends, only because I'm not friends with this girl. It hurts, and that's why I will try my best to put up with Brielle, no matter how idiotic she is.

I hear the sound of shoes walking on the stage and see Brielle walking on, holding her mic stand in her hand. She sends a smile towards the lads, and then sends me a glare. I groan a bit, she will never lay off her hate for me for one second will she?

She sets the mic down, and talks a bit to the boys who are sitting in the first row. Then she stand up and looks around, our managers are on the other side of the room.

She walks over to the mic stand and stands in front of it, "We already did soundcheck for you lads, so we're good to go." She says, chuckling. "It's kind of funny really, some of these songs I just changed from 'he' to 'she'." All of the lads let of a few laughs, the managers also chuckle a bit.

"I'm going to start off with a faster song, I wrote it specially for you last week, hope you like it." She says smiling, then motioning to her band. "This is called She's Not Afraid."

A guitar sounds, loudly might I add, I look around, the speakers are right behind me. I sigh, this is going to be a long day.

Once the song finishes, everyone claps, but me. The song was good, honestly. It sounded great, but I can't give her the joy of me being nice to her just yet.

"We're going to slow it down a little bit. Here's They Don't Know About Us."

"People say we shouldn't be together, we're too young to know about forever. Well I say, they don't know what they talk talk talking about." She sings, looking a little above the heads of the crowd, I know that technique, it's to calm your nerves. I used it a while back when we first started doing shows.
