Sophie didn't slept at all. Morning found her crying alone on her bed. She called Emilia just to make sure that she's alright and hung up. She felt embarrassed to even say that to someone. On Monday on her work she avoided any kind of talking about the bar or him with Em. She couldn't say it,she felt stupid utterly. She only said that she had a great time had a few drinks and went back home. How could she say that she had sex with a stranger who on top of everything was also married. She felt like a piece of trash. The very next day Kit came to surprise Emilia at work and told her that on five days on Saturday night he booked two or three tables on the bar for her birthday party. Sophie swallow hard but she couldn't find an excuse to say to not go.

And the week run smoothly but she couldn't forget. His music played on her ears when she close her eyes. Whenever she was standing on silence his voice echoed in her mind. It was painful and exhausting like he was haunting her dreams and her peace.  She knew that she needs to forget about him. He's married and an utter cunt. And yet after hours of trying to sleep she found herself streaming online and made a small research for him. And then she found out something that made her stand upright. On a radio interview he said that he's sworn bachelor and he has no plans for marriage. The interview was from a month ago. She took a deep breath trying to control her anger and not start to punch the walls. He only said it to get her away from his place. But she wouldn't cry out for him no,she did a lot of that already. Unconsciously she felt relief at least that she didn't became someone who slept with a married man even without her knowledge.

The next day was the party and she decided to go and keep her head high. She wore a long backless dress and high heels. If she would appear she'd look good. Last of her intentions was for him to see her and feel sorry for her or even worst think that she's in love with him or something. It didn't matter what she felt inside it would go away soon she persuade herself.

Kit with Emilia came to pick her up and she went downstairs and got inside his car. "Happy birthday,Em." She hugged her tightly. "I love you, buns. This is for you!" She smiled giving her the birthday present.

"Thank you, girl.. Wow, look at you, you look stunning! "She couldn't not notice her look.

"You look gorgeous too." She smiled. "I didn't know what to get you. You know i suck on picking up presents. So i got you your favourite perfume."

"Soph, you really suck on picking presents." Kit snorted as he was driving. "What did you got me?"

"A cookie?" She said and furrow brows. "Why would i get you a present it's not your birthday."

"Doesn't matter, you should have." He shakes his head and Sophie gave him a small smack.

"Drive already," Emilia pinched Kit to his neck and they finally got on the road. "Are you exciting to see Mr Solomons again?" Emilia teased Sophie. "Not so far from weddin dress," she commented on her look.

Her face tensed just by the mentioning of his name. Sophie took a deep breath and shrug. "Or the funeral service." She mattered sarcastically.

"Oh i smell rejection!" Kit cocks brows as he stayed focused on the road.

"Shush." Sophie shakes her head. "Nothing will happen in between us anyway so.." she shrugged.

"Definitelly. You're way out of his league, you can find somebody better than grunting asshole and he's probably too old," Emilia snorted. "But the way he smoothly plays track 10 on that cd, maaaan," she sighed dreamily. "I swear, I asked Kit, if he doesn't want to sign up for piano classes," she giggled and sent Kit a kiss through driver's mirror.

"I definitely won't." He chuckled and smack her leg playfully reaching his hand on the backseat.

But Sophie could still remember the way the played serenade for her on the piano. Obviously he only used it to have the girl wrapped around his finger and she fall for the cheep show like a dumbass. "Em is right. He's old and mean and asshole. And you should sign up for the classes tomorrow."
