Soon the night of the concert came. She was preparing herself in the mirror not for long since she couldn't effort a lot of time. And besides, she didn't needed much to shine. Her silver evening gown made her look like vision and the light make up just to boost on her appealing beauty.

Her parents would look after the twins for the evening. Of course her father was mumbling all evening how wrong he finds all this but Sophie explained that she's only trying to support him and nothing more.

The concert was about to start at 7pm,but the car stopped in front of Sophie's place at 4:30 already. Alfred needed to be there sooner, obviously. Whole morning he had rehearsals, meeting with journalists, the day before few TV interviews. The truth was, he struggled with almost unbearable pain and he was all the time under strong painkillers. The concert that he longed for became necessary evil for him. He only wished it passed by quickly and he could go to the hospital finally. Putting all his hopes on surgery and therapy after that. The car stopped in front of Sophie's apartment and he walked to her flat and knocked on the door, waiting for her to open.

Instead Michelle open the door. Of course he knew they're there since yesterday and the meeting with Robert would be inevitability. "Hello, Alfred." She smiled. "Come in. Ready for the big night?"

Robert was on the rocking chair with Lyla on his chest trying to soothe her since she hurt her toe and started to cry earlier. He gave a look at Alfred and continue rocking the baby.

"Yeh, I am, right," he answered to Michelle and entered, supporting himself on his cane. "Good afternoon," he nodded towards Robert and smirked, once Will ran to him and groaned the moment he hang on him, demanding to get him on his hands. "Come 'ere, ya rascal," he scooped him up with deep grunt and kissed his cheek. "What happened, luv. Why ya cryin'?" He looked at Lyla.

"Stomp on the table, her little toe but she's a big strong girl and she'll be fine." Robert answered.

"Ah.. I'll go tell Sophie you're here. Should i bring some coffee first?" She politely asked and Robert roll his eyes to the unnecessary courtesy towards him.

"No, thank ya," Alfred refused.

"Alright.." she nods and made her way to inform her that Alfred was already there.

Quickly she finished last details and took her purse and made her way out. "Hello, Alfie." She said calmly. "I..i think I'm ready."

"Darling, you look absolutely wonderful." Michelle praised and Sophie gave her a small smile.

"Hello, Sophie." Alfie turn to her holding William. "We can go now since you're ready." He nods and before he put his son down he gently leans on his cheek and whispers softly on his ear before he kissed his cheek again.

Michelle came to take William and Sophie kiss his cheek and Lyla's. "Alright, have fun." Michelle waved at them with William.

"If you need anything just call me,mom,ok?" She nods to her with a small smile and open the door and they walked out of the door.
"Are you nervous?" She asked Alfie with a small smile as they walked down to get in the car.

"Yeh..."he said lost in his head, slowly walking beside her. "Wait ya mean the concert, right. No,no. Unless I start puking or my leg falls off, I'm good."

She paused for a moment and she hold his hand to stop him for a moment. "Hey..look at me. Everything is going to be alright. You'll get to the hospital get rid of that annoy mole and you'll continue being your awful self as always. Few days in the hospital, few needles and you'll be home before you blink, alright?"

He cleared his throat and nodded his head, looking at her, then turned on his front and continued walking. The car was waiting for them. Driver opened the door for Sophie and Alfie and and started to drive. "Now help me to find an excuse for my absence on after party, yeh?"
