She lunged forward suddenly and almost got him with the dagger, until there were about ten of him, and they were all spread out throughout the otherwise unoccupied room.
"Not bad for the God of Mischief. But you forget something, Loki, that I can see through illusions like this." Drina's voice was teasing now, but there was a legitimate reason for her cockiness at the moment.
"Well, I wasn't expecting that. In the spirit of being honest, I had forgotten about that ability of yours." His voice came out of all of the clones, as Drina slowly turned in a circle and her eyes narrowed.
Her dagger whipped through the air and Loki managed to dodge it, but he lost his concentration, and the clones all disappeared at once in the blaze of gold and green light.
He yanked the dagger out of the wall and looked over at her, and she holds another one already.
"How can you expect to ever make your father proud, when you cannot even summon a weapon, with which to fight with?"
She snapped and her face was emotionless, though she had pain underneath her expression, as Loki's eyes widened in shock.
As he was clearly completely unprepared and caught unaware for the harsh and brutal truths that she was being unkind in throwing into his face, though he knew exactly why.
"If I could beat you, if I could kill you, then how could you, Loki Odinson, be able to prove yourself, in a real battle to the death?!" She yelled and she had a broadsword in her hands, and she lunged forward quickly at him, the sword coming down at his head.
The metal of the sword clanged against more metal, and Loki had a pair of daggers held in his hands that had been summoned out of nowhere.
Drina grinned and Loki simply laughed at the sight of the daggers in his hands, and Drina smiled. "Sorry. I didn't mean any of that, but I thought that it might work." She said and he'd look at the daggers in his hands in the clear shock.
"Well, I think that it worked." He said and the daggers disappeared into thin air, as Drina did the same with the big broadsword.
"DRINA!!" Drina looked up at her mother's familiar shouting and she rolled her eyes.
"Would it be absolutely just horrid and bad behaving for me, to simply just hit your mother over the head with another illusion of a wolf?" Loki asked as the clicking heels of Drina's mother were drawing ever closer.
"Yes, it would be. Please, do it." Drina mumbled and a ripple of green came from Loki, to form a wolf that was the same height as the previous.
While Drina hides behind a column and created a clone of herself, as Loki hid behind the column only a few feet to her left, in order to direct the wolf.
"I'm right here, dear mother." Drina's clone speaks up, as the wolf just came closer to the door, prowling up to the two, like only a predator could do. "I assume that you have another dress to force me into?" The clone asked.
"You are grounded, young lady! I will be taking your weapons and-- what is that?!?! AHHH!" The real Drina had both of her hands covering her mouth now, as the clone yelled at her mother to run, before both of the illusions, the Fenris wolf and Drina's clone disappeared, and they erupted into loud, and some quite unstoppable fits of laughter.
Drina coughed loudly, as she finally was able to breathe again, after that well-deserved fit of laughter.
"You all right Loki?" She asked as he looked dejected all of a sudden now, a bit.
It was all from within the mighty shadows cast from behind the pillars and columns, through the glass ceiling of the room. "Whatever is the matter with you now?" She asked, as her tone was meant to be teasing, but the tone changed to concern rather quickly.
"I can't do it. I tried again, but this time I couldn't bring one up. Let alone twin daggers." Loki mumbled and she knew that she shouldn't, but Drina was suddenly bursting out into more laughter, as Loki looked insulted. "I'm havin' trouble and you are laughing at me?!" He shouted and she coughed a little bit, as she shakes her head.
"You have to work on it, Loki. Over and over again, it is not just somethin' that you can simply do once and then, just be done with it and be a master. I don't know of a single god or goddess, or warrior that has ever gone through their life without ever needin' in their free time, any sort of practice with the weapons that they choose. Bearing all of this in mind, it will come to you, in time, Odinson." She said and held out a dagger to him, as Loki looks at it, as it had his symbols engraved on it, the same ones, that the Migardians use to describe the God of Mischief.
"All right. Maybe it will."
He said and she grinned at him, as they both bolted off down the hallway and back towards the Great Hall, and they were hoping to be able to cause a lot more mischief, and all before the "Grand" party was finished.
