Mia was drifting to sleep but never slept. She was mad that she couldn't sleep because she had a test the next day and if she got anything less than a 98 she would never hear the end of it from Celia. She created a story for her new life that would be better than this current one. She thought that she could be with the sporty girls and have a little bit more money than what she has now and nice things and a bigger room. It's tough that she can only dream of these things.
The next day comes around and Celia got the 100 in math and Mia got a 100 too, she immediately knew that she could maybe eat tonight. She liked that thought that she might not be dead by morning.

Celia and Mia are in 4th grade now and they were in separate homerooms. Mia was in Mrs. Thomas's class and Celia was in Mrs. Nephid's class for English and related arts. They shared a class with Señora Faldado for Spanish which was math and sciences. Alex was also in Señora Faldado's class with Celia and Mia. Evelyn was in the other Spanish class across the hallway. Evelyn wasn't in any classes with they rest but they still had all of recess for their game.  Mia still swung by to check up on the popular girls like Jane and Aurora. Mia just likes to know what they are up to every once in a while because they are in after school together with Celia. Just Celia never checks with them. I don't think she liked them very much just because they were popular but they were nice. Alex grabbed Mia and shouted, "MIA!!!! Where are you going?" Mia was surprised to hear something from Alex just because she thought she would follow Celia and not try to include her.
"I'm going to check up on Jane and Aurora because you guys are doing something else." Mia said, but not knowing her reaction which made her nervous. She always had a pretty idea of how people will react and can predict pretty well but when she didn't know made her scared. Especially because she would do that to her dad and had to analyze his reaction before she said something. He was always surprised when she never talked to him as much as her siblings.
