The period past with just introductions and going around the room asking people their names. Most of the people that were in the class were from Mia's elementary school because her school was the only school that offered Spanish. She walked a few step steps out of the class room with Alex and Celia walking towards Mia. Celia wouldn't stop talking about how she loved her teacher. Celia got Senor Gomez with Alex. Alex just stood there agreeing with Celia but she didn't make a huge scene like Celia was making in the hallway on the way to go upstairs. They had all of their classes together except for their extracurriculars.
Mia was just juggling her own thoughts without a single grasp on reality. She paid no attention to Celia or Alex or even the stairs. With this death wish she fell down the stairs. Literally and figuratively.
