I woke up, feeling warm once again. I expected to wake up on the chair but instead I was in the bed. Loki's arm was over my shoulder. He was snoring softly. He must've put me back in bed and fallen asleep with me.
"Hey, wake up." I whispered.
"What time is it?" Loki muttered. He turned over to face the wall. I pulled off the covers.
"I'm assuming it's six in the morning." I replied, looking out the "window." It wasn't really a window, more like a balcony. The sun was rising above the buildings.
"That's too early for me." Loki said. "Go back to bed, I beg of you." He pulled the covers over us.
"What time are you supposed to wake up?" I asked.
"Whenever I guess." He replied. "Just go back to bed." I sighed, getting back under the covers. I snuggled up close to Loki. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer. I fell asleep again.
*Timeskip brought to you by Sleepy Loki*
I opened my eyes. The sun's blinding light filled my room. I rubbed my eyes and kicked off the covers. Loki probably got out of bed because he wasn't next to me. I slipped my clothes from the other day and got ready for today. I walked out and made my way to the grand hall, where the food was. I think. I eventually made it to the kitchen and stole some yummy toast, an apple, and a goblet of milk, which was weird to drink out of. I then walked into the throne room.
"Hey Y/n." Loki said, sitting on the throne.
"Hey Loki." I replied. "When did you say we were gonna take our little trip back to earth?" I asked.
"Whenever you're ready." He replied. I smiled.
"So right now?" He nodded.
*Timeskip brought to you by Starbucks*
The bifrost teleported us to earth. I immediately rushed off to the nearest Starbucks in Puente Antiguo. I dragged Loki to it, who was wearing a nice suit and tie.
"Hello, how may I help you?" The annoyed, Starbucks barista asked. She must've really hated her job.
"Two frappuccinos!" I said with excitement. "Ooh! And with whip cream." She rolled her eyes and went to get the frappuccinos ready.
"What are frappuccinos?" Loki asked.
"They're these delicious, caffeine, drinks with whip cream." I explained. The barista came over and handed me the drinks. I gave her the money. "Thank you for the drinks!" I said, walking out of Starbucks. As we walked the town, Loki and I drank the frappuccinos.
"Mh, these are really good." He said. "You were right."
"Aren't I always?" I said.
"Really?" Loki asked. I laughed.
"Nah, I'm kidding." I replied. "If that was true, Jane wouldn't have a hard time trying to prove her theory." I took a giant slurp out of my drink.
"What is Jane's job?" Loki asked.
"She's an astrophysicist." I responded. "It's space science." We walked to the edge of town, where there were a bunch of cars and area 51 looking guys. "Uh, what are we doing here?" I asked.
"I need to check something." Loki responded. "Wait here." He went into the "Area 51." I sat on a rock, finishing up my drink. Moments later, Loki came back.
"What took you so long?" I asked.
"I made a short stop to throw away my empty cup." He replied. "I don't know if I was supposed to put it in the blue can or green one." I laughed.
"I always get those two confused." "I think the green one is the recycling bin."
*Another timeskip brought to you by popsicles.*
The Bifrost teleported us back. Well, not really. It teleported us to an icy, cold place. The temperature dropped so fast that my body didn't even get a chance to let its warmth out slowly.
"It's f-freezing." I said. Loki, who was back in his Asgardian wear, wrapped a coat around me. "W-where d-did y-you get-t th-hat?" I asked, shivering like crazy.
"I have my ways." He replied. "Now, I need you to wait here."
"You're leaving me again?" I asked, wrapping the coat tighter around me.
"It will be only for a moment. I promise you that I will not leave you out here for dead." Loki said. I bit my lip.
"Promise?" I asked.
"Promise." He responded. "I'll be back in a little bit." I sat there, unable to move due to the freezing temperature. It had to be at least two hundred degrees below zero. There was no way I was gonna survive. I felt myself pass out. I tried to prepare myself for the fall, but someone caught me. I tried to open my eyes.
"H-hey Loki." I said, before passing out.
