Chapter Thirty Seven

Ivy's POV

I woke up later that night after shit went down. My stomach still hurts like hell. I went to get up but collapsed to my knees in pain. I held my stomach while I sit on my knees. Sam wasn't anywhere to be seen and I was left alone. I could only detect one other person in the house. My door opened revealing Ben. He started walking over to me.

"Get away from me." I had my forehead resting on the floor.

"Ivy, please just let me help you." He walked over to my side and I pushed him away.

"I said leave me alone."

"Babe please?"

"I'm not your babe anymore!"

"Ivy just stop fucking arguing with me and let me help you! You're in pain and can't even get up on your own!" He yelled. I was froze looking up at him. He never yells at me expect....yea, not even gonna finish that sentence. I let him pick me up and put my back in bed.

"Where is everyone?" I looked the opposite way.

"Hunting. Smiley had to get some more painkillers for you and Slender is talking with your uncles."

"Sam?"

"Hunting, without you, Slender put Jeff with her." We both sat there silent. "I never meant for anything to happen when I was gone. It's just after I left I felt different and when I saw that chick I couldn't help but fall for her." I had to hold back tears to keep from crying. "After you broke up with me and left, the feelings I had for her left like they were never there in the first place. I didn't even like her."

"Did you sleep with her?" I looked back at him seeing he lowered his head. "You fucking slept with her!"

"Ivy, she didn't mean anything!" I brought my tentacles out pushing him back away from me. I had my wings out wrapped around me. "Forgive me Ivy."

"How? You cheated on me and was possibly the one who got me pregnant!"

"Babe, I can't do anything without you. Please, give me another chance." I stopped pushing him with my tentacles.

"Fine, you get another chance but we start over as friends."

"Ok, if that's what you want. I'll do anything to prove that I care." I put my wings and tentacles away but stayed lying on my side. Ben walked over and sat down on Sam's side. Everything was silent between us. We sat there about twenty minutes just staring at the walls thinking. I wanted to take a bath but I can't get up. I let my tentacles come out and run one to the bathroom turning the water on. Ben looks at me. "What are you doing?"

"I want to take a bath." He gets up and goes to the bathroom. After a few I hear the water turn off and he comes back. Ben picks me up carrying me to the bathroom. He sits me on the counter before leaving the room.

"Leave the door unlocked in case you fall or something." I slowly get out of my clothes and sink into the water slowly. The water was bubbly because Ben put bubble bath in the water. It smelled like water lilies and rain water. I sat back in the bubbly tub. I let one of my tentacles come out and ran it in my room to my phone. I brought it in here and put my music on. "Ivy why didn't you just ask me to bring your phone?" Ben asked from outside of the room.

"I don't like to be a burden on people Ben. You know that." I heard him sigh. I continue to sit in the water lounging. The water is so warm and it smells good with the bubble bath. I lied my head back closing my eyes resting while listening to music.

Ben's POV

I was sitting in the living room. When everyone was leaving to go hunting Slender sent Jeff with Sam and I had to stay here with Ivy. I still love her but she's pissed at me and won't even look at me. I don't know what Slender thought he was doing putting Jeff and me with our ex loves. He knows we still love them but they hate us. Is he trying to get us killed? I was playing on my phone my I heard a thump upstairs. I went to Ivy's room to check on her. I opened the door revealing Ivy in the floor on her knees. I started walking over to her.
