Living with Slenderman's Daughter

Chapter Eight

Ivy is in bed sound asleep while everyone is having breakfast. They hear coughing upstairs and figure it's just Ivy. Slender came in the front door walking to the kitchen.

"Hey Slendy." They all say.

"Good morning children." He walks over getting a cup of coffee and then goes to his office. Everyone just sits there and finishes up breakfast before going to the living room. Sally sits on the couch watching tv while holding her teddy bear. Hoody and Masky are sitting on the couch eating cheesecake even though they just finished breakfast. EJ, Ben, and Jeff are in the basement playing video games. Jill and Laughing Jack are just hanging around eating candy in the basement while watching the guys.

Hours past of them hanging around not doing any work. Slender calls Laughing Jack, Jill, Toby, and Hoody into his office.

"What is it Slendy?" Jill asked.

"You four are going on a mission. You will be gone awhile so pack everything you might need." They walk out of his office going to their rooms. Hoody stops by Ivy's room checking in on her. She starts coughing in her sleep. He walks over feeling her head. Her head is burning up. Hoody goes to get Slender. They come back to her room and she is still burning up.

Slender has Hoody put a wet washcloth on her head to try to break her fever. He let's Hoody set out for his mission with the others. Slender has Masky, Ben, Jeff, Eyeless Jack, and Sally look in on her. Jeff is in her room at the moment checking on her. He only sits in there about ten minutes before leaving. He sends Ben up to take care of her for him.

Ben walks in her room, going over to her bed. He sits on the side and takes the washcloth from her head to see if she is still warm. She is still burning up and she starts coughing in her sleep. Night has started to fall. Ivy wakes up coughing. Ben is sitting on the side of her bed looking at her.

"How ya feeling?"

"Fine. How long have you been in here?"

"Awhile but I know your not fine."

"Ok, ok I'm sick. Does dad know?" Ivy asked.

"Yeah?" Ben asked confused.

"Well, damn it. Looks like I'm not getting out of bed anytime soon." She groans.

"You hungry?" Ivy looks over to where he is sitting.

"Kinda." Ben walks out leaving her alone. He comes back a few minutes later with two slices of pizza. He gives her the food and she sits up to eat. She eats a few bites before it makes her sick to her stomach. Ivy gets up running to the bathroom to throw her guts up. He walks in behind her pulling her hair back. He rubs small soothing circles on her back.

When she stops throwing up he talks to her.

"How ya feeling now?"

"Like hell." She tries to get up but she is not to stable on her feet. Ben picks her up bridal style. She puts her arms around his neck and sinks her head into his chest. "Why are you warm?" She asked.

"Because I'm not sick or freezing cold." He lies her down in bed and she is shivering. Ben lies down with her. Without arguing she moves closer to him cuddling into his side. He flinches at first but then he wraps his arms around her pulling her closer. Ben smiles but doesn't let her see it. She falls asleep cuddled up to him.

Ivy is looking paler than usual and it kinda has Ben worried. He strokes her hair while she is asleep.

(Days later)

Ben is lying in Ivy's bed with her while she is asleep. He ended up finding out she sleep talks.

"Ben stop." She mutters. He starts listening to her. "Stop. I don't wanna be queen of smurfs." He tries to keep from laughing. "No Sally don't push me over." He keeps listening to her but apparently the dream changed.

(Ivy's dream)

She's walking down a corridor and it's filled with nothing but closed doors. See keeps walking but stops when she catches a glance of green going one way and yellow going another. She's looking back and forth trying to chose which way to follow but after awhile of debating she finds her answer.

"Sorry Masky." She says and goes to follow Ben. Once she comes to the end of a hallway she can't find Ben. Ivy opens a hall door walking in. She goes deeper into the room. She stops in her tracks looking for Ben.

Ivy feels a breath on the back of her neck. When she turns around she is pushed back onto a bed. When she looks up she finds Ben straddling her hips with their fingers interlaced. She tried to talk but her voice wouldn't work. Ben is looking her in the eyes and is only a few inches from her face when he speaks.

"You are mine now. Forever and always." His lips locked with hers but it's like she can't feel him. He pulls way from her and she sees him start to disappear. The last words he said is running through her mind. Ben just completely disappears off of her leaving her lying on the bed alone.

"Ben?" She asked. No response. She tries again but shouts. "Ben?!" She starts to panic.

(Outside of the dream)

Ben is lying there when Ivy's starts talking again.

"Sorry Masky." He is confused but a few minutes later she starts calling his name. "Ben? Ben?!" He sees that her breathing picked up and she flew up awake now.

"Calm down Ivy." He tries to sooth her. He gets her to lie back down. Ivy is cuddled into his side again not letting him go.

"Don't leave me." She mumbles before falling back to sleep. Ben still heard what she said and just wraps her back into his arms. He lets her sleep but she is in a restless sleep.

Hours pass and night finally falls Ben wakes her up. He leaves her room so she can get dressed. She just pulls on a loose shirt and sweatpants. She goes downstairs with Ben only to find a portal opening. Out steps Zalgo with a smug grin on his face.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? I see you're not dead yet Ivy."

"Why am I not surprised to see you?" Ivy calls for Slender with her mind and he walks into the room.

"Zalgo. Ivy please leave the room." She says ok and she went to the basement with Ben. They just sit on the couch not doing anything. He looks over at her.

"What was you dreaming earlier? You kept calling for me." She lowers her head and Ben can see a slight blush on her face.

"Don't laugh if I tell you." He agrees to it. "I dreamed I was in a very long hallway filled with doors. I saw green and yellow but they went in different directions. I knew the yellow was Masky and the green was you. I couldn't chose at first but I followed your path. I couldn't find you so I entered a room only to feel breathing on the back on my neck. I turned to see who it was and I was pushed back onto a bed. I looked up to find you on me and when I tried talking I couldn't. You told me that...." She stops talking.

"I told you what?" Ben asked.

"That I was yours forever and always. Then you just kissed me and started to disappear. I tried calling for you but I never got a response." She keeps her head down so she doesn't have to look at Ben. He takes her chin lifting her head up.

"You are mine Ivy. Forever and always." He smirks at her.

"Does that mean what I think it means?" She asked.

"Will you be my girlfriend Ivy?" She smiles and answers him.

"I would love to." She wraps her arms around his neck hugging him. He puts his arms around her waist pulling her to him. They hear snickering in the corner and turn to see Jeff.

"What the fuck are you doing down here?" Ben asked.

"Watching the lovey dovey show down here." He says with a grin on his face. Ivy let's her tentacles come out and bitch slaps him.

Jeff grabs his cheek. "What was that for?!"

"For watching us and I'm still pissed at you for trying to kill me."

"Well excuse me for thinking you was mortal." Jeff says. She just rolls her eyes and grabs a controller. She goes to playing a game leaving the guys to watch.
