Chapter Nineteen

She spots a blade lying on the counter and picks it up. "I told Ben I wouldn't but I need to stay awake." Ivy takes the blade and slits her wrist. She winces but cuts her wrist a little more before going on to the other. She has her hands placed on the counter and the blood is running out of the wounds, down into the sink. The blood stains the sink, she dropped the blade leaving it lying on the counter.

Ivy runs out of the bathroom and into her room. Sally is sitting on her bed looking at her and sees the blood dripping down. "Ivy?"

"I'm so sorry Sally. I couldn't resist I about fell asleep. I had to." Ivy falls to her knees and let's the tears around down while Sally comes over to her. She tries comforting her but Ivy only cries harder. "You shouldn't have to see me like this." She wipes a few of her tears away.

Sally is looking at her. "I'm here Ivy. It's gonna be ok." Sally stays with Ivy until she is called downstairs. She rubs her back before getting up and leaving out of the vent. Ivy gets up now that's she's wide awake and plays GTA 5.

Downstairs Sally sneaks out of the ventilation system and goes to the kitchen. She is debating on wether to keep it a secret about Ivy cutting again or telling them and letting them know how to get into her room. An image of Ivy flashes in her mind about Ivy bleeding to death.

(Time skip)

Ivy is already nineteen her birthday was about two months ago. She hasn't slept any. Sally is really worried about her. She is up in her room now sitting at her side. Ivy's wrist are bleeding along with her upper thighs.

"Are you okay Ivy?" Sally asked. Sally knew that if she loses to much blood she could die.

"Yea, I'm fine." Ivy gives Sally a smile. Ben and Jeff are calling for Sally. She leaves going down to them in the kitchen. Sally made up her mind she is telling Ben.

Ben is standing by the table with Jeff when Sally came in the kitchen. They could see something's wrong. "What's wrong Sally?" Ben asked.

"I have to tell you something." Ben bends down to her level. "Ivy started cutting again. She hasn't slept in months." Ben eyes are wide.

"How do you know?" He tried to keep his voice steady.

"I've been sneaking in her room the last few months. She's really pale and weak. She didn't want me to tell you guys but I started to get worried."

Ben has to bite his tongue to keep from yelling at her. "Sally go up there and unblock the door." She nods and Ben gets Dark, Masky, Bloody Painter, and Puppeteer to come with him. They see Sally open a door under the staircase. They go up to the door waiting. They all can hear Ivy inside telling Sally not to.

"Don't Sally. Please."

"It's for your own good Ivy." She pushed the dresser out of the way and unlocks the door. The guys all walk in her room. Ben walks over pulling her into a hug but she winces.

"Ow. Ow. Hugging hurts Ben." He pulls back looking at her. A cut on her arm started bleeding. Dark walks in the bathroom coming back with a first aid kit. She has her hands on the cuts on her thighs. Ben wraps her wounds up and moves her hands. He wraps the cuts on her thighs up still sitting on the bed. She leans her head on Ben's shoulder. "I'm tired." She yawns.

"Then go to sleep." Ben tells her. She shakes her head no.

"Zalgo could get me."

"He won't get you Ivy. We won't let him." Masky walks over sitting on her bed.

"But he wants me to kill dad and I don't want to." Ivy still has her head on Ben's shoulder. She yawns once more and grabs a game controller. She about fell asleep so she goes to the bathroom throwing water on her face. It wakes her up and she goes to play video games.

"You really need to sleep." Bloody Painter tells her.

"No. Sleep is for the weak. I don't need rest." She yawns still playing her video game. When the game ends she starts giggling.

"What are you laughing about?" Puppeteer asked.

"The dots are so pretty. They are flying around taunting me. Stupid little bastards." She laughs.

"I think no sleep has got to her." Dark says. Sally walks over to Ivy touching her head. Ivy falls back onto Ben.

"Sweet dreams Ivy." Sally smiles. Ben has her wrapped in his arms while she sleeps.

"Why didn't you tell us sooner that you would come and see Ivy?"

"She was fine the first week and a half but then she broke down. She started cutting again. Ivy wouldn't do it when I was here she would just play video games and pace the room. She would do it when I wasn't here." Sally droops her head down. Ben still has Ivy in his arms.

The guys leave Ben in Ivy's room with her. He lies her back on the bed before wrapping an arm around her waist. He kisses her forehead before resting next to her.
