Chapter Twenty Five

The guys are on spring break and they are loving it. They hang out with Sam a lot over break after they found out how her home life is. The guys all get a message from Sam.

(Chat group)

LJ: J

EJ: Ja

Ben: B

Jeff: Je

Hoody: Br

Masky: T

Sam: S

(Now it starts)

S: hey boys. :)

All: sup Sam?

S: you guys want to come over tonight and play video games? My parents are going out.

Je: sounds fun.

B: I'm always in when video games are involved.

Ja: yea it sounds good to me.

S: you guys can come over around say 5?

J: sure that's good.

S: see ya guys then.

The guys all get ready to go over to Sam's house to hang out. Ben leaves Ivy a note saying that the guys wanted to hang out with Sam. They all get in the Durango and head over to Sam's house.

It's now five and Ben knocks on the door. No answer; they knew Sam was home cause this was the time she told them to be there. He tries the knob and the door opens. They walk in and can smell the blood in the air. Jeff runs to the scent finding Sam lying in the floor barely hanging onto life.

"Sam!" He bends down beside her and pulls her into his lap. "Guys!" They come in seeing Sam. She tries saying something but she's to weak. Sam drifts off into oblivion in Jeff's lap. "Come back." Jeff mutters. A few minutes pass and they heard the faint sound of sirens in the distance.

"Come on. We have to get out before the cops come." LJ says. Jeff stays on his knees with Sam.

"Jeff come on!" Ben yells. "Bring her with you! We can't get busted here!" Jeff picks Sam up before they take off out the back door running. Once they are back in the woods he goes to the clearing with Sam's body. He lies her down.

"We should have came sooner, Sam. You would still be alive. I would still have my Sam." He mutters the last sentence.

The next night they buried her under a willow tree in the clearing. Jeff had Jill put her in a white dress to say that she was pure. Masky and Hoody know Jeff is taking it pretty hard even if he wouldn't admit he liked her. They lie her to rest in the pouring rain. Ben was holding Ivy's hand.

"I wish you got to know her. She was kinda like you." Ben says before kissing Ivy's hand.

"It would have been nice to know her. With the way all of you guys talked about her she was a good person." Ben pulls Ivy into his side and they walk back to the mansion drenched.

It's night time and Jeff is sitting on the porch drinking. Everyone else is in the mansion worrying about Jeff. They knew he liked Sam but they didn't think he liked her enough to stop killing after her death. All he does is sit around and drink he hasn't harder been sober any since she died. Ivy looks out the window watching Jeff try to drink away his misery.

"I'll be right back baby." Ivy gets up from where she is sitting with Ben and goes outside. She sits down beside Jeff and rubs small soothing circles on his back. It was silent for a minute before Ivy speaks. "Jeff I know how you feel. Sam must have been very important to you." Jeff grabs her wrist squeezing it. Ivy winces in pain.

"You have no idea how I feel Ivy!" Jeff snaps at her. "You don't know how much I cared for her!"

"I may not know how much you cared about her but I know how it feels to lose someone you care about." Ivy just looks him in the eyes. "Remember I lost my mom when I was ten. You can't say I don't know how it feels to lose someone you care about."

"Ivy, I'm sorry." He lowers his head and drops her wrist. "I just want Sam back. I never got to tell her I liked her." Jeff looks at the ground trying to calm himself back down but with him buzzing it's kinda hard to do.

"Jeff you need to try and rest. You look tired." Jeff shakes his head no before taking a swig of his vodka.

"No, I can't sleep. If we got to Sam's house sooner she would still be alive. She would still be here. I won't sleep until I avenge her. She didn't deserve to die. I know that sounds weird as fuck coming from me but she didn't. She wasn't like the other damn mortals in the world. She was different. That son of a bitch father of hers needs to pay!" Ivy stands up before letting her tentacles come out and picks Jeff up with them. "Put me down damn it!!" She walks in the mansion.

"Jeff calm your tits. I'm going to put your drunk ass to bed." Ivy uses one of her fathers spells and puts Jeff to sleep. "Sleep tight Jeff." She teleports upstairs and puts him to bed. She comes back downstairs and sits with Ben again.

"What did you do to Jeff outside? And what happened to your wrist?" Masky asked now examining her wrist.

"I went to comfort him a little and he kinda got pissed at one point." He pokes her around at her wrist and she winces when he touches under her thumb.

"I think he sprung your wrist, doesn't look to bad though. It should be good." He's still poking at the spot where her wrist hurts.

"Yea it will if you stop poking around where my wrist hurts." He stops messing with her wrist.

"Sorry, I was just double checking to make sure Jeff didn't do anymore damage." Ivy just rolls her eyes before rubbing her wrist. She stops rubbing her wrist when she heard a noise.

"Did you guys hear that?" She is looking to the front of the mansion.

"What was it?" Ben asked.

"It sounds like, weeping?" She gets up and walks out onto the porch and the guys follow. The sound got louder when they stepped out. Everyone is looking every which way trying to find the source. EJ spots a white figure and chases after it. "EJ come back!" Ivy calls out before taking off after him. Ben and the others chase after her. EJ keeps chasing the white figure until he comes to the clearing.

Ivy runs in behind him panting. "Wtf EJ?"

"I lost it." The others come into the clearing when he said that.

"Lost what?" Masky asked.

"The woman in white. She came this way but I lost her." Everyone looks at him like he's crazy.

"Maybe you need to sleep EJ. I think you're starting to let no sleep get the best of you." Ben says.

"No! I'm not imagining the woman I saw her! She came this way!" The guys end up having to force EJ back to the mansion.

"It might be a good idea to get some sleep." Masky says. The guys all head up to bed but Ben.

"Baby get some sleep. You have been restless since Sam died." Ivy kisses Ben's cheek.

"Babe I'm fine." Ben wraps Ivy in his arms.

"Just go to bed. For me."

"Only if you come with me." Ivy smiles before letting Ben drag her up to his room. Ivy stands by his bed while he is in the bathroom. When he comes out Ivy is in just her bra and panties. He walks over and crawls behind her.

"Night baby." She turns and pokes his nose. He smirks before throwing an arm over her and throws a leg over her pulling her to him. "Dafuq you doing?"

"Making sure you can't leave while I'm asleep." He keeps his smirk on his face. Ivy moves her head into the croak of his neck cuddling up to him.

"You're insane baby." She mutters.

"You know you love me babe." He kisses her cheek. Ivy just smiles and let's him go to sleep keeping her trapped.
