An assembly of trees stood in front of you as you ran through the forest. You didn't have much time, you had to run.

You could clearly hear the sounds behind you, he was here. His footsteps became louder and louder, closing the distance between you two. Your heart beat erratically, steadily rising as you realized he was almost within reaching distance.

No, no! You had to escape!

You sped up, sprinting away for him for the last time. He wouldn't catch up, right? Why had this happened? Because you wanted your freedom? Or was it because you escape? He said if you did, he would leave you be!

You were scared, and vulnerable at the moment. It was terrifying.

You almost reached your home. Your save heaven. A placed where only you could enter, salvation. With a snap, you realized he was on your tail again. He was close.

No matter, only you could enter. It was a safety precaution, made to protect your people. Deep in the dark forest, home of the Elves, Eitches, Werewolves, and Dwarves, there was a barrier that reached hundreds and hundreds of miles. It was home. A home he wanted to destroy. Just because he couldn't get his hands on any of your kind.

You guessed that is why he ran after you, he wanted your power. You entered safety but did not slow down, you had to run a few more miles in order to enter true salvation. You heard him stop, he could not enter, no matter what. He was human, after all.

"I will get you back one day, ______!" He shouted, you could easily find the anger in his voice.

You took a beep breathe and opened your mouth, speaking for the time in a year, the first time ever in his presence. "That is NOT my name!" You continued your sprinting, you were almost home! The idea was liberating and washed out all negative feelings you felt earlier.

As you passed the last barrier you could feel your tranquillity returned to you. This was your home. As you entered the public area, you could hear gasps all around you. You looked around you, familiar faces rushed to you from the crowd looking at you.

You were home!
